<p><i>The FCA Winter Classic took place at the beginning of the week with the championship rounds on Thursday. Team battled for three days, playing back to back to back games against some solid talent. Below are five of the top performers from the event. </i></p>
<p>Goldsboro HS Junior Forward <b>[player_tooltip player_id="949375" first="Ta’Korrie" last="Faison"]</b>: Easily the most dominant player in the championship game, Faison played to his strengths scoring twenty-five points and pulling down sixteen boards. He was automatic from midrange and inside the paint, using his strength and size which led to a championship win and being named Tourney MVP. <br />

Wayne Prep Sophomore Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1076371" first="Amari" last="Latham"]</b>: The leading scorer on his team throughout the season did not disappoint in the championship game, dropping a team high of twenty-seven points. Standing at close to 6’4 with the ability to score in various ways, he did everything in his power to keep his team in it and he’s one to keep an eye on.</p>
<p>Wayne Christian Senior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1008880" first="Jayquan" last="Curry"]</b>: His scoring ability is nothing new, and we saw flashes of that throughout the matchup. Knocking down some shots from outside, finishing over and around bigs, plus converting some tough buckets. He’s strong, quick, athletic and was the player that his team looked to whenever they needed someone to make a play.</p>
<p>Parrot Academy Senior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1062123" first="Tomir" last="Moore"]</b>: Although he suffered an injury in their final game of the tournament, his play in the prior rounds should not be overlooked. In the first two rounds of the event he averaged over twenty-five points per game, getting where he wanted on the court by using his speed to blow to by opponents on a regular basis.</p>
<p>Rosewood HS Senior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1124960" first="Otis" last="Coley"]</b>: The primary ball handler, floor general and even leading scorer for his team, his team depends on him to play major minutes for the squad to be competitive. He has solid height for a PG at about 6 foot, a quick first step and was a huge part of breaking down the different defensive pressure they faced.</p>
