West Carteret Senior Forward [player_tooltip player_id="1032848" first="Jaxon" last="Ellingsworth"]: One of the best overall performances came from him during their semi-final matchup against Cape Fear. He caught fire in the first half and led his team with twenty-two points in the half. He stands at about 6’8 and has a very fluid shooting release but he understands how to use height to score inside when he has the advantage. His team would go on to win the bracket championship and he would be named the bracket MVP.

New Hanover HS Senior Wing [player_tooltip player_id="848071" first="Mikhail" last="Pocknett"]: Easily one of the top overall performers in the tournament from start to finish, he scored and rebounded the ball at a high level. He has a nice blend of size, skillset, strength and athleticism that college coaches will absolutely love! In the semis and championship game, he averaged sixteen points and thirteen rebounds, leading his team to back-to-back blowout wins to claim the Championship and MVP.

Terry Sanford HS Senior Forward [player_tooltip player_id="787668" first="Davis" last="Molnar"]: His team would come up short in the semis, but he fought hard to give his team a chance to win. The most impressive attribute of his game has to be his passing ability. At 6’6-6’7 he’s able to see over most defenders but he also has the IQ to make the right passes which led to some easy field goal attempts for his teammates.

71st Junior Forward [player_tooltip player_id="1168305" first="James" last="Scott"]: A double/double threat just about every time he steps on the court, this game was no different. He scored and rebounded inside at a high level, his height and length to finish inside off of missed shots and entry passes from the Guards. On the defensive side of the ball, he does a nice job protecting the paint, contesting and blocking shots at a high level without fouling.

EE Smith HS Senior Triston Robinson: He doesn’t have the typical size that you would want to see from a post player, but he makes his impact on games by using his strength. Throughout their matchup with TS, he out worked and out muscled taller opponents to snatch down rebounds and score in the paint. His team would pulp of the upset, and he was a big reason why, scoring twelve points while pulling down ten rebounds.
