One of my goals is to write about as many prospects as I can. There is no shortage of talented players to promote in South Florida.

I think I have some good ones in this piece.

Here we go...

[player_tooltip player_id="546183" first="Jabral" last="Ray"] - University School

2023 [player_tooltip player_id="546183" first="Jabral" last="Ray"] has good size at the point guard spot. Per latest information, the 6-foot-2 prospect is averaging 9.8 points per game while shooting 48 percent from the floor. Ray has a solid jumper and facilitates well in motion. He previously played at SLAM Miami and is reportedly doing a prep year after his high school career is over.

[player_tooltip player_id="1163362" first="Ralph" last="Blanc"] - Mater Lakes Academy

2024 [player_tooltip player_id="1163362" first="Ralph" last="Blanc"] is one of many reasons why I believe the Bears are an up and coming team. The 6-foot-5 forward is long and athletic around the rim. Against Westminster Christian, Blanc had 20 points and five rebounds while shooting 8-of-14 from the field. 2024 Khalil Volel is another name to monitor. The 5-foot-11 shooting guard is 15-of-29 (52 percent) from deep. Volel went 6-of-11 from the perimeter for 20 points against Dr. Krop. He can really stretch the floor in the Bears’ offense.

Adrian Mirabel - Coral Reef

2022 Adrian Mirabel is having a good season for the Barracudas. The 6-foot-3 guard is averaging 19.3 points per game while shooting 69 percent from the field. Moreover, Mirabel is 10-of-28 (36 percent) from deep. He scored scored 16 points against Ransom Everglades and 15 points against Westminster Christian. His season-high is 30 points and eight rebounds against Homestead.

[player_tooltip player_id="1065479" first="Carlos" last="Tavares"] - Miami Southwest

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1065479" first="Carlos" last="Tavares"] is showing out for Miami Southwest. The 6-foot-2 guard is averaging 20 points and 8.8 rebounds per game while shooting 63 percent from the floor. Moreover, Tavares is 16-of-31 (52 percent) from deep. Against North Miami, he scored 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds while shooting 10-of-20 from the field. Tavares also scored 22 points against Miami Palmetto. The senior captain has the Eagles at 7-3 overall. 2022 Joshua Fernandez is another Eagle having a good season. Fernandez is averaging just over 12 points per game while shooting 52 percent from the floor. From deep, he is shooting 45 percent (19-of-42).
