<p>The upcoming basketball season is full of excitement with teams gearing up for strong seasons. Sleepers are ready to emerge onto the scene as they get more opportunities to display their skillsets, especially on the wing. Here are the wing sleeper prospects set for big seasons in 2021-22.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1202206" first="Bryce" last="Nwobu"], 6’3 SG Cherokee 2022</strong></p>
<p>Nwobu had a solid fall season and is looking to carry over his form into the winter season. The 6’3 guard attacks the basket with a purpose and does not mind drawing contact. Nwobu is more than just a slasher as he can also knock down jumpers in the mid-range and has a nice release on his jumper. He is a good rebounder and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Nwobu looks to be the go-to guy in Cherokee’s offense this season with his ability to get to the rim and finish.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1206551" first="Alex" last="Viquera"], 6’5 SF Northern Highlands 2023</strong></p>
<p>Viquera is set to get more touches on the offensive end for Northern Highlands and is ready for the opportunity. The 6’5 wing has a good release on his jumper and is capable of knocking down open jumpers from behind the arc. Viquera moves well off the ball, setting himself up for open layups and jumpers. He has the length to defend multiple positions and is an underrated rebounder. Viquera is a breakout contender to watch in Bergen County as he can knock down triples and finish around the basket.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1213571" first="Elijah" last="Butler"], 6’3 SG Linden 2024</strong></p>
<p>Butler is an intriguing prospect to watch as he looks to show off his skillset. The 6’3 lefty has a nice handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finish around the basket. Butler is more than just a slasher as he can also hit open jumpers from behind the arc. He is an underrated passer and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Butler is a talented wing prospect who should get better as the season goes on for Linden.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1265912" first="Sheick" last="Samoura"], 6’5 SF Peddie 2022</strong></p>
<p>Samoura has gotten off to a strong start with Peddie and is looking to continue it throughout the season. The 6’5 wing has a good shooting stroke and is capable of shooting either off the catch or dribble. Samoura is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim and finish. He is capable of running the offense and has the athleticism to defend multiple positions. Samoura is a versatile wing prospect who is set for a breakout campaign with Peddie.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1269775" first="Ebrahim" last="Kaba"], 6’5 SF East Orange Campus 2023</strong></p>
<p>Kaba is a player to watch for the Jaguars as he gets more looks on the offensive end. The 6’5 wing has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. Kaba uses his size to shoot over smaller defenders and can finish around the basket. He moves well off the ball and is an underrated rebounder. Kaba’s shooting ability is something that will help his game throughout the season for East Orange.</p>
