2022 Rankings: New Names

<p>Our 2022 class rankings are now over 135 players ranked in the class and we’ve had some movement up and down the list with this update. Here’s a look at some new names in our updated Senior rankings.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1215559" first="Bless" last="Kamuena"], Bryan Station - Bless moved in from Illinois and is likely to be a difference maker in the always tough 11th region this year. Kamuena is a versatile player with good size and the ability to guard multiple positions on the defensive end of the court. He should be on the radar of every in-state school looking for big wings.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1287039" first="Cole" last="Sherman"], St. Xavier - Cole is one of the best scoring point guards in Louisville and was a bad miss by us in previous iterations of these rankings. Sherman has been offered by several D3 schools and should be on the radar for high academic D2s and NAIAs.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1215554" first="Tyler" last="Buckhanon"], Bath County - Long and athletic, Buckhanon arrived at Bath County this year and has flashed a lot of raw potential. Tyler will be one of the best players in his region this season and is the type of player who goes to a good juco for a year or two and emerges as a D1 player.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1313013" first="Lukas" last="Manns"], Pikeville - Manns recently picked up an offer from King University in Tennessee and looks primed for a good season. After Pikeville had injuries slow them down the last two seasons, they'll hope to have all systems firing and get to Rupp Arena this season. The emergence of Manns can help get them there.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1215564" first="Will" last="Hardin"], Madison Central - Hardin is the type of player who gets no recognition but does all the things his team needs from him to get a win. As a prospect, Will is a tweener who can play more of a stretch 4 or a small 5 man. On the court, he's a good rebounder and defender who makes open shots and can score around the rim.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1262013" first="Isaac" last="Garang"], Fern Creek - Fern Creek has a lot of playing time available this season after graduating one of their best classes in recent memory in 2021. Garang is very long and athletic and can rim run on offense or protect the rim on defense. He'll be an X factor for the Tigers and should be on the radar for colleges, especially juco schools where he can keep developing.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1288937" first="Garrett" last="Vogelpohl"], Lloyd Memorial - One of the better players in the 9th region, Garrett doesn't get a ton of recognition but has been the recipient of a couple of college offers in the last couple of months. Heading into the season, Vogelpohl will lead a Lloyd team with aspirations of getting to the 9th region tournament and making some noise.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1289001" first="Aaron" last="Brown"], Greenwood - Brown was a standout at our Top 250 in September and is one of the better players in the 4th region that doesn't get mentioned much. At Greenwood, Brown does it all including rebounding at a high level and scoring in double figures. At our camp, Aaron showed that he can also excel as a playmaker with the ball in his hands.</p>
