Top players from each region are put on a team and then brought to one location to battle for bragging rights. This year was the 18th year for WIBCA and it did not disappoint. The gym was full of college-level prospects and college coaches; a hooper’s paradise. With over 160 players in attendance, I decided to lock in on one court. Check out the players that made my notes…

Aaron was one of the biggest winners from the weekend; he had his full skill set on display and turned a lot of heads. Although he has a long and skinny frame, Ofstun battles in the paint and doesn’t back down to physical play. He guarded, scored on the block, and rebounded over bigger, stronger defenders all weekend. He had good moves and soft touch in the paint, he made plays out of the mid-post, and he showed off his 3pt range. He has great defensive instincts resulting in a lot of help-side blocks. He also does a good job of contesting without fouling. Aaron’s buzz is definitely growing on college radars. Keep an eye on him this upcoming season.
2022 Carson Frawley | 6’6 Wing | Camas HS
Frawley is long and athletic. He’s elite in transition; has good speed and runs the lanes hard. He looks to play above the rim even through contact which he showcased on a fastbreak this weekend by completing an and-1 dunk. He had tough finishes moving at full speed as well which shows great body control. When playing the trail spot, he had nice attacks to the rim and showed a solid handle. He is a consistent shooter from deep and can do it with or without the dribble. Big-time stock riser in 2022.

I love his motor, and how vocal he is on the floor. He’s the perfect anchor to a team’s defense. He is strong, he hedges hard on screens, and he protects the paint. He showed his ability to handle the rock when leading the break and attacking defenders from the mid-post. He has good vision and found cutters and weakside shooters all weekend. Kamal has a good feel when playing on the perimeter; he keeps the ball moving with dribble hand-offs and ball screens.
2022 Wyatt Dunning | 6’5 F | Port Angeles HS
Dunning is a solid stretch forward. He can score with his back to the basket and also step out to play on the perimeter. He handles it well enough to get by defenders and shoots it well enough to keep them honest. He runs the floor and finishes in transition. He battles in the paint for rebounds; makes the first hit.
2022 Bobby Siebers Bobby Siebers 6'3" | SF Glacier Peak | 2022 State WA | 6’4 SG | Glacier Peak HS
Bobby is a nice guard with good size. He plays strong and finishes through contact at the rim. His skill set allows him to be effective in playing at multiple positions. I was impressed with his footwork and touch in the paint.
2022 John Lustig | 6’3 SG | Colfax HS
Good player with a smooth shot. I liked his pace and feel for the game. He shot it well from 3 and also did a good job of attacking closeouts to get to his spots for a middy pull-up. His handle allows him to create shots for himself and others. His size and shooting will translate to the next level for sure.
