Sanford Pentagon Fall League: RECAP

<p><strong>Sioux Falls, SD</strong>- The Pentagon puts on the only high school fall league that I know about outside of the metro area in MN. From everyone I have talked to, the Pentagon does a great job putting on the league. There were many great teams that played in the league and it was loaded with talented players. Many of these guys will be playing college ball. It is great to see all of these players putting in the time on a Sunday afternoon/evening. It is going to be a fun and exciting high school season, this fall league gave a great sample of some of the amazing hoops we will see in a couple of months. (see below for <strong>All Fall League Team</strong>)</p> <p>The 9th annual Sanford Pentagon Fall League is in the books. <strong>SF Roosevelt</strong> laid claim as tournament Champions with a 64-61 Title game win over EBE West on historic Heritage court within the Sanford Pentagon. <br /> <br /> After finishing the regular season 4-4 and in a three-way tie with Mitchell and Harrisburg, SF Roosevelt got the nod and won the tie breaker. They entered the Champions bracket as the 4th seed, while SF Lincoln cruised to the top seed winning the regular season with a 7-1 record. <br /> <br /> <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Champions bracket it was</span></strong>:<br /> #1 <strong>Sioux Falls Lincoln</strong> (7-1) <br /> Vs<br /> #4 <strong>Sioux Falls Roosevelt</strong> (4-4) <br /> <br /> #2 Kool-aid Jammers (6-2) <br />        ***aka: <strong>SF Washington</strong> <br /> Vs<br /> #3 EBE West (5-3)<br />       ***aka: <strong>Rapid City ST. Thomas Moore</strong> <br /> <br /> In the opening round SF Roosevelt established themselves as the group with quicker and more athletic guards than SF Lincoln was ready for and could handle. Roosevelt grabbed a convincing 73-48 win and a spot in the title game.</p> <p><br /> On the otherside of the bracket, it was a much more competitive game with the Kool-aid Jammers (SF Washington) losing a great game to EBE West (Rapid City STM) 54-53.</p> <p><br /> In the Championship game the Defending SD Class AA Champions SF Roosevelt proved they were to much for Class A perennial powerhouse Rapid City STM (EBE West) to handle and <strong>Roosevelt</strong> grabbed a 64-61 win, and left the Pentagon as your <strong>2021 Fall League Champions.</strong> <br /> <br /> </p> <p>In the 3rd place game, SF Lincoln took down the Kool-aid Jammers 74-52. Lincoln will be one of the pre-season favorites in Class AA. They will be led by 7Ft [player_tooltip player_id="1265221" first="JT" last="Rock"] who has the attention of college coaches all across the country.  </p> <p><br /> In the Consolation Bracket it was
