The NCISAA 2A title should be a wide-open race once again, though The Burlington School will be a tough squad to beat once again in 2021-22. Take a look at some teams and prospects to keep an eye on at the 2A level.

The Burlington School:

The Spartans are back and loaded once again as they look to repeat as 2A State Champions led by [player_tooltip player_id="854890" first="Kobe" last="George"], [player_tooltip player_id="1098355" first="Zion" last="Walker"], [player_tooltip player_id="1237808" first="Kendrell" last="Brooks"] and add size in the frontcourt with [player_tooltip player_id="577871" first="Avion" last="Pinner"], [player_tooltip player_id="1217074" first="Michael" last="Nwoko"] and [player_tooltip player_id="848085" first="Amare" last="Miller"]. They’ll be a competitive group onc again as they look to make it back-to-back crowns.

Wayne Country Day School:

[player_tooltip player_id="848089" first="Collin" last="Tanner"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1120961" first="Kayleb" last="Coles"] are a few new faces looking to make their mark in the Wayne Country Day rotation.
Trinity Academy Raleigh:

[player_tooltip player_id="848082" first="Noah" last="Ross"] (UNC-W) and [player_tooltip player_id="838046" first="Sam" last="Perez"] (High Point) look to be a lot more competitive with [player_tooltip player_id="1014991" first="Kevon" last="Vanderhorst"] running the show at the point guard spot. Trinity Academy will have an experienced cast of prospects for coaches to get a look at this year.

Westminster Catawba Christian:

M.J. Collins (Virginia Tech) and Richard Black are one of the top backcourts at the 2A level and will be worth keeping eyes on down at Westminster Catawba Christian. They’re an underrated group to watch in the NCISAA with some other young names to track.
