He is a physical forward who is too quick for bigs but too fast for guards. What makes him a tantalizing prospect is his ability to shoot it with range.</span></li> <li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">[player_tooltip player_id="1047331" first="Jackson" last="Kulik"], Webster Thomas</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> - A 6’6 Shooting Guard who understands the position. Kulik can score the ball in bunches from every spot on the floor. A member of the NYS All-State Team in 2021 is coming into his senior year ready to show why he was selected.</span></li> <li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">[player_tooltip player_id="1203387" first="James" last="Mathews"], Uprep</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> - A 6’2 Point Guard who has a tremendous amount of upside. He scores on all three levels but be careful when he attacks the basket as Mathews plays above the rim frequently and is not afraid of challenging anyone at the rim.</span></li> <li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Mason Blankenburg, Wayne</span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> - A 6’2 Point Guard member of the NYS All-State Team in 2021. Mason has a very high basketball IQ and can run the pick and roll with ease. Also an outstanding shooter from deep with a phenomenal mid-range pull-up jumper.</span></li> <li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">[player_tooltip player_id="1203908" first="Kai" last="McCullough"], East </span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">- A 6’2 Guard who was also a member of the NYS All-State Team in 2021. McCullough plays the game with an unmatched motor, especially in transition, where he has the speed and agility to maneuver past any defenders.</span></li> <li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">[player_tooltip player_id="1045935" first="Myles" last="Blackwood"], Aquinas </span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">- Blackwood is a 6’3 Guard/Forward who is a very physical specimen. He is best when he’s attacking the basket and in transition, where he has the opportunity to use his athleticism and strength.</span></li> <li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">[player_tooltip player_id="1046088" first="Jack" last="Bleier"], Aquinas </span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">- Bleier, a 6’4 Point Guard who shoots the ball very well from the outside, will be looking to lead his team to their first finals championship since 2016.</span></li> <li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Ryan Garwood, Northstar Christian Academy </span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">- Garwood enters the season as the top catch and shoot player in Rochester. Contested or uncontested Garwood will make you pay from behind the line.</span></li> <li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">[player_tooltip player_id="1203160" first="Andrew" last="Quinn"], Webster Thomas </span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">- Quinn is a pure scorer, pound for pound my pick if you need a player to give you twenty and possibly thirty on any given night. Quinn can score on all three levels, and at 6’4, he is a matchup nightmare.</span></li> <li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Mike Morgan, Edison Tech </span></strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">- Morgan is an uber-athletic guard who is always in attack mode and finishes above the rim with ease. He developed a consistent 3 point shot over the summer Morgan will surprise a lot of people this season as he sneaks in as my last pick in the Top 10</span></li> </ol> <p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">*Honorable Mentions</span></p> <p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Shamir Caruthers East, [player_tooltip player_id="1202018" first="Mason" last="Giorgione"] Rush Henrietta, Will Taylor Mcquaid, Rob McCullough Aquinas, [player_tooltip player_id="1047360" first="Ben" last="Carey"] Webster Schroeder, [player_tooltip player_id="1203364" first="Andrew" last="Edwards"] Uprep, Preston Prince Hilton.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
