Noah Hartsock is a winner. In college, he was an impact player responsible for 113 wins during his career. The Bartlesville Oklahoma native starred at BYU alongside Jimmer Fredette and was known for his competitive fire and passion. His goal is to instill those same traits into his Bulldog team this year. "We’ll reach our goals if we play with a competitive passion each and every game," says Hartsock. During a drill, he stops his team to remind them of what it will take to win this season. "We have to do hard things to win" This year’s Centennial squad looks up to the challenge. With a slew of guards, around one of the cities top big men, it is Hartstocks hope that the team plays with a little selfishness this season. "We need to be a selfish rebounding, team," says the coach. If the team meets their coach’s challenge, look for them to make some noise this season.

The senior guard prefers to lead by example, showing off shooting and ballhandling ability in the scrimmage. He’s a terrific glue guy, that will do a great job of keeping the team level-headed throughout the season.

He is still a bully downhill driver but has added playmaking to his game. He has also stretched his shooting range, showing good form and knocking down several catches and shoot threes, in the shooting drills.

He’s one of the best on-ball defenders on the squad, with the ability to disrupt opposing ballhandlers. He impressed me with his outside shooting during the scrimmage, displaying a consistent ability to knock down corner 3’s. He impresses everyone with his charisma, energy, and 4.0 GPA.

The PG has great anticipation skills and delivers the ball on target. His ability to make tough shots, handle and defend, along with his dime skills, will be a key weapon for the squad.

The best way to label his game is quirky and effective. He’s a good athlete, with the ability to get out and finish in transition. He has good defensive instincts, playing passing lanes well. Roberts has the potential to be one of the top scorers for the team.

The coach mentioned that the big man had "come a long way" since his freshmen season. He’s improved his ability around the rim, showing a knack for finishing with his right hand. His ability to protect the rim and rebound will be huge in determining the success of the team.
