<p data-pm-slice="1 1 []">Big men can be relegated to doing the dirty work in camp settings. These 5 young men below changed that becoming focal points of their teams early and often. These guys 6’7 and taller some with three point range, others game changing motors, and defensive awareness. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1055726" first="Sammie" last="Yeanay"] more than cemented his top 10 ranking in the Florida class of 2024 after a dominant day at the Prep Top250. He dominated the paint both ways, protecting the rim on defense and dunking everything around the rim on the offense. Yeaney’s mobility and motor were on full display as he scored in transition with a contact filled euro layup and as a cutter in the half court.</p>
<p>Bigs don’t always shine in a camp setting, but 6’10 [player_tooltip player_id="962596" first="Gavin" last="Aydelotte"] was hard to miss. He has a good frame with broad shoulders. Ayedlotte showed he can score in various ways throughout the day by hitting jumpers from three and the midrange in game two, gaining deep positioning, using his footwork to get a right-handed hook in game 3.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="709258" first="Nehemiah" last="Turner"] looks to be in better than when I saw him in June. He’s still a good rebounder, but looks to have improved his lift. The 2023 prospect deterred shots at the rim and hit a trail 3.</p>
<p>Senior forward [player_tooltip player_id="955800" first="James" last="Morrow"] played every with passion. He talked to his teammates about rotations and was fully engaged in every play. At 6’7 he tracked down guards in transition for two blocks while matching up with [player_tooltip player_id="1055578" first="Asa" last="Newell"].</p>
<p>2023 [player_tooltip player_id="814550" first="Dylan" last="James"] plays like a big man with wing skills. He switches from hitting threes and taking defenders off the bounce for layups to offensive rebounding and throwing down thunderous dunks. His versatility was on full display in Winter Haven.</p>
