Jayden Brink Jayden Brink 6'0" | SG Kingsland | 2024 State MN of Kingsland (6’2 G 2024). Brink made a couple plays that had coaches turning their roster packets in curiosity. Brink is an athletic underclassmen who is a three sport star, and you can tell that his balance and strength on the court are a big part of his production.
Drew Burau Drew Burau 6'4" Howard Lake Waverly-Winsted | 2022 MN of Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (6’5 PF 2022). Maybe the biggest introduction to the state from the 2022 class was Drew, a 6’5 face-up post that averaged 11 points and nine rebounds last season shooting 55 percent from the field. Burau was a constant. Constant rim runner, constant rebounder, constant balanced finisher, just a constant. A player I could see moving to the D3 level and making a nice impact.
Colby Deluce Colby Deluce 6'1" | PG Moundsview | 2023 State MN of Mounds View (6’1 G 2023). Shooters! Teams need shooters and Colby is without a doubt a shooter. One of the best shooters at the Expo and a shooter that will take advantage of space given in the SEC and make teams pay. All of the Prep Hoops scouts checked and each game Colby was lights out for the weekend.
Henry Eliason Henry Eliason 6'5" | SF Eastview | 2023 MN of Eastview (6’5 F 2023). It’s getting a bit unfair to others, but Eastview has so many players coming up. Henry is another. At 6-foot-5 Henry has a comfortable handle and the way he uses his body to shield and separate to get into his touch is something that will separate him. Eliason also has a good looking shot and has no problem finishing above the rim with two steps to the cup. Watch out for Henry on varsity this year, this young man can really play.
Jobe Juneemann of Duluth East (6’2 Wing 2023). College programs have spoken loud and clear, they want shooters. So we are always on the look out for shooters and when I saw Jobe play, he was again shooting the ball extremely well. The Duluth East Greyhound had a nice summer with Starks Elite 16u squad and carried that over at the Expo. In addition to shooting well, Jobe finished some attacks (using either hand) and did a nice job changing direction and getting into a jumper.
Prince Nde Prince Nde 6'0" | CG Woodbury | 2022 MN of Woodbury (5’11 G 2022). I have to believe that Prince will be one of the better players for Woodbury this year, at least based on what I saw this weekend. Prince is a lefty that was able to extend to his left and catch players off guard with his attacks for finishes. Also a much better passer than I was prepared for: Prince created some shots at the rim on the move and had some snap reversals or two hand quick feeds that allowed shooters to take comfortable shots.
Jj Sullivan Jj Sullivan 6'2" | SG Eden Prairie | 2025 State MN of Eden Prairie (5’11 G 2025). Every once in awhile a special shooter comes along and JJ might be the next one. There are only a few guys that you just expect to take and make the three and after watching Sullivan take a couple shots, he seems to be that guy. And with a little research, it sounds like Sullivan is always that guy. Watch out for Sullivan at EP sooner than later, he looks to have a special touch.
