He has a quick first step to get by defenders, knocked down shots and embraced contact without a issue once he got inside the paint.
71st HS 2023 Guard Randy Dockery Randy Dockery 6'2" | CG Seventy-First | 2023 State NC : Showed some flashes of what he can potentially be, slashing to the basket offensively and getting after it on the defensive side of the ball. He’s an athletic player that excels in transition and can get going scoring wise once he sees a few buckets go in.
Pine Forest 2022 Guard Tristan Harkins: One of the most unselfish players that we saw at camp, he took on the role of facilitator which is something that we have seen from him pretty often. On the defensive side of the ball he gave a nice amount of effort, guarded without fouling and didn’t scored on much throughout the day. He’s a player that smaller colleges will want to keep an eye on as we fully expect him to have a big time senior season.
Lumberton HS 2023 Guard JaMerel Brockington: A dual sport athlete that bring the gridiron toughness to the basketball court, he’s a strong guard that uses his strength to his benefit. Whether it’s physical defense or playing through contact on offense he’s a strong player that gets the job done.
Parrot Academy 2023 Guard Tomir Moore Tomir Moore 5'10" | PG Kinston | 2023 State NC : Does a nice job of reading defenses and playing the game at his own pace. He made some good reads in pick and roll situations, making the correct decision of when to score and when to facilitate. His ballhandling skills were impressive, the different types of defensive pressure he faced didn’t alter his game or force him into any turnovers.
