Day 2 of the Nassir Little Camp brought out many of Central Florida’s and Orlando Christian Prep’s biggest stars. [player_tooltip player_id="709236" first="Jayden" last="Hastings"] was the headliner from the event but another 2023 challenged him all day. A handful of guards emerged as major players throughout the including several 2024 prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id="814550" first="Dylan" last="James"]

Since the spring, James has been one of the hottest prospects in Florida. With offers from Alabama, Georgetown, Florida, and others, he’s establishing himself as a top forward in the class. Expects some stars behind his name when rankings update. At 6-8, James can hit perimeter shots and take bigs off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id="1055774" first="Isaiah" last="Brown"]

A long bouncy 6-3 guard. He uses his length to finish around the rim. The 2024 prospect hits his teammates in transition. Brown already has a state championship under his belt and will develop on a team that has Division 1 level guards and forwards ahead of him.

[player_tooltip player_id="1060185" first="Isaiah" last="Sutherland"]

A 6-5 point guard that has a killer mid range jumpshot. He rattled off ten straight makes from 15 feet out during a drill. He’s a competent floor general that can find the open man.

Marc Angueki

A high motor 6-6 forward that finishes through contact. Angueki led all scorers while showing off a nice bag of moves during team play. His energy helps him on both sides of the floor, where his length and intensity make him an impactful defender.

Deandre Webster

Webster is a rising senior, well equipped to run the lead guard spot. He’s a smooth ball handler that consistently beats his defender off the dribble. He brings a calm presence to the offense but changes tempo well when he’s ready to make a play. The Fort Pierce point guard was one of the camp’s best transition playmakers. Recent film from an AAU tournament shows a competitive player that shoots off the dribble from mid-range out to three.

[player_tooltip player_id="955596" first="RJ" last="Morgan"]

Morgan is having a great summer on the AAU circuit. He has multiple 20+ point games and gaining interest from D1 and D2 teams. The 2022 prospect demonstrated why in the games at Nassir Little Camp. He stole the ball and raced up the court for the game-winning bucket that put his team in the championship game. His quickness with and without the ball allows him to make plays. As a 6-2 guard, he was one of the most consistent finishers at the rim. Morgan was in attack mode on Saturday, but that wouldn’t stop him from throwing one of the cleanest bounce passes of the camp that hit a cutter and lead to a hockey assist.

[player_tooltip player_id="962419" first="Matt" last="Vaughn"]

Vaughn had a good showing at the camp as an athlete and as a teammate. The 6-2 guard finished above the rim with ease and has a highlight reel of dunks that date back to late 2019. He’s an active rebounder and a strong driver with a soft touch on floaters. Vaughn flashed a solid skillset throughout the camp. He hit a catch and shoot three, blocked a layup in transition, and scored on two tip ins. His tempo and downhill scoring abilities helped him to score key buckets in transition. He was enthusiastic the entire camp; celebrating every play his teammates made.

Boaz Goodman

Goodman is one of those rare athletes that’s built like a football player but still has touch on his jumper. In fact, he looked like one of the better shooters at the camp when left open and on limited opportunities. In the halfcourt, he knocked down a pull-up three and made plays as a finisher.

[player_tooltip player_id="1055587" first="Darian" last="Frazier"]

When Nassir Little paused play to tell campers about the importance of playing defense, he pointed out Frazier as one of the better defenders on the court. He covered guards and forwards, slowing them with physicality and energy. His combination of strength and athleticism helps him finish through contact.

[player_tooltip player_id="709236" first="Jayden" last="Hastings"]

At 6-9, Hastings shows off great versatility in the forward spot. He’s a long, lean athlete that can make plays at and above the rim. The 2023 4 star prospect runs the floor and makes defensive plays in the paint. He’s a good rim protector thanks to his length, timing, and athleticism. This setting really allowed him to flex his perimeter skills. His handle and agility will allow him to take bigs off dribble. Hastings’s turnaround jumper bails him out when his first move doesn’t fall through.
