AURORA, Ill. -- Breaking down Sunday's top individual performers from the Prep Hoops Summer Challenge...

[player_tooltip player_id="764101" first="Quentin" last="Bolton"] - 2021 - SF - Wisconsin Playground Club PH

Bolton scored it really well against the Illinois Stars. The 6-foot-5 wing is a knockdown shooter that knows whether or not it’s good as soon as the ball leaves his hands. A physical, built prospect, Bolton has a really pretty stroke. He’s getting better and better at using his size around the rim too. Bolton was relentless on Sunday and got to the foul line a ton. Bolton shows flashes of being a two-way player. He has good measurables for that end of the floor and times shots really well as a shot blocker. An unsigned senior, Bolton has a number of JUCO offers. He’s definitely a kid that could end up being a Division 1 prospect after a year or two at that level.

[player_tooltip player_id="988983" first="Noah" last="Feddersen"] - 2022 - PF - Wisconsin Playmakers

Feddersen was just outstanding in a Sunday morning win over Real Phenom. The 6-foot-8 forward dunked everything around the rim, blocked shots with authority, and posted hard on the block all game long. Holding a trio of Division 2 offers, Feddersen could be a stud at that level. He’s a plus athlete that makes highlight plays above the rim, moves really for his size, and has some budding versatility. If Feddersen gains some consistency as a shooter, he’s going to be incredibly difficult to stop in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id="761407" first="Luke" last="Haertle"] - 2022 - SG - Wisconsin Playground Club

A prospect that's just going to lay it all on the line each time he stops on the floor, Haertle is as blue collar as it gets. He brings his lunch pail and his hard hat to work and it's not quitting time until the job is done. He was a big x-factor against Mac Irvin Fire, playing in the post and guarding players 4-5 inches bigger. Haertle certainly won his share of battles and helped negate a big size advantage. The Lake Country Lutheran star came out firing early too offensively. He helped his team get off to a great start with a handful of transition jumpers. Haertle would finish with 13 points in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id="1139376" first="Andre" last="Renta"] - 2022 - PG - Wisconsin Playmakers

They say water always finds its level. After a tough start over the first two days, Renta unloaded against Real Phenom, scoring 20 points in the first half alone. One of the top stock boosters from the spring, Renta has an ultra-quick first step with some terrific blow-by ability on the ball. Renta can go from zero to 100 and stop on a dime. He’s got the ball on a string and can play low to the ground. The junior guard mixes it up well offensively with drives to the rim and 3-point shots. Renta also plays well in the pick n’ roll. He’s able to decipher whether to hit the roll/fade man or put the ball on the deck and attack. Think Renta should be a priority WIAC recruit and generate some Division 2 looks this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id="727964" first="Jack" last="Rose"] - 2022 - SG - Wisconsin Playground Club

Rose scored 18 points in a blowout win over Mac Irvin Fire. The Westosha Central sniper scored 11 quick points, shooting the opposition right out of their zone. A prospect that's teetering on the high major level right now, Sunday was a good showing against a team full of athletes. Rose is really working well off the ball and finding rhythm 3-pointers. He's not wowing anybody athletically, but can certainly score off the dribble in the mid-range and occasionally get to the cup. Once again, Rose came up with a variety of hustle plays. He's an underrated shot blocking guard who times shots well. He's one of the best charge takers in the state and puts his body on the line for loose balls as well.

A.J. Wells - 2022 - G - Illinois Stars

Wells was just unstoppable on Sunday against Wisconsin PGC PH. This is a strong, athletic, and relentless attacking guard that just gets downhill and makes you stop him. Wells got whatever he wanted in transition and finished just about everything right at and above the rim. He's a powerful finisher that doesn't change his plan of attack just because someone is between him and the rim. Listed at 6-foot-5, Wells is pretty shifty in the open floor. When a lane opens up, he can switch gears very well for his size. Wells also played tough, physical defense, which also quickly turned into offense at the other end after he'd force a turnover in the backcourt.
