Prep Hoops PA Rankings Update: Class of 2024 Newcomers

<p>Prep Hoops PA has updated their Class of 2024 rankings and we deliver the top “Newcomers” to the list of 225 players. The addition of this young group of talented performers took time to develop a quality database. We made sure the state of Pennsylvania was thoroughly searched to create a more substantial list of players. These new members are one-hundred percent deserving of the addition to the 2024 rankings. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>8) [player_tooltip player_id="1188065" first="Robert" last="Cain"] / 6’3 / shooting guard / Kiski School</strong></p> <ul> <li>A talented all-around performer that can score in a variety of ways</li> <li>He plays physical and does not shy away from contact in the lane</li> <li>Robert has the ability to be a high profile recruit by the time his scholastic career ends</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>10) [player_tooltip player_id="1173989" first="Royce" last="Parham"] / 6’7 / power forward / North Hills High School</strong></p> <ul> <li>This tall, lanky, long skilled big man has improved over the years with hard work</li> <li>He is the definition of a basket protector with his shot-blocking ability and defensive rebounding </li> <li>Royce is coming into his own with division 1 offers picking up this summer</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>15) [player_tooltip player_id="1187942" first="Eli" last="Teslovich"] / 6’0 / combo guard / Shady Side Academy High School</strong></p> <ul> <li>This combo guard likes to have the ball in his hands during crucial moments during a contest</li> <li>He can score from beyond the arc, but he penetrates and scores with mid-range jumpers/floaters</li> <li>Eli hustles on the defensive end and will be seen taking charges or diving on the floor</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>19) [player_tooltip player_id="1187966" first="Joseph" last="Roth"] / 6’4 / power forward / Ellwood City High School</strong></p> <ul> <li>A fundamentally sound post player who led his team to a WPIAL Championship as a freshman</li> <li>His calm demeanor is impressive for such a young player that started every game this season</li> <li>Joseph competes at an extremely high level and never backs down from a challenge</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>20) [player_tooltip player_id="1187940" first="Cam" last="Rowell"] / 6’5 / power forward / Franklin Regional High School</strong></p> <ul> <li>This athletic and long big man can score in the post, off rebounds, and looks to knock down shots from the perimeter</li> <li>He has a terrific vertical ability and is a difference-maker in the paint on the defensive end of the court</li> <li>Cam will be a special player in the years to come for his high school and AAU teams</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>21) [player_tooltip player_id="1187941" first="Joey" last="Dopriak"] / 6’5 / power forward / North Allegheny High School</strong></p> <ul> <li>An above-average performer that has great knowledge of the game for a young man</li> <li>His footwork in the post on offense is exceptional and has a more "old school' approach to scoring</li> <li>Joey is a coachable kid and with his work ethic and dedication look for big things in the future from him</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>24) [player_tooltip player_id="1187983" first="Braylon" last="Johnson"] / 6’4 / small forward / Moon Area High School</strong></p> <ul> <li>The ever-growing length of this kid makes him a matchup nightmare during games on offense</li> <li>He likes to shoot from the three-point line but will drive from the wing as well</li> <li>Braylon has the budding talent that will have his name on many recruiters minds moving forward in the next few years</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>31) [player_tooltip player_id="1188064" first="Ty" last="Iwanonkiw"] / 6’9 / wing forward / Central Catholic High School</strong></p> <ul> <li>A 'babyface" young man who likes even younger, but plays like a man on the court</li> <li>His footwork, agility, and athleticism separate him from many opponents during games</li> <li>Ty likes shooting from the perimeter but is a big problem inside as well</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>41) [player_tooltip player_id="1188040" first="Josh" last="Okafor"] / 6’2 / power forward / Sewickley Adademy High School</strong></p> <ul> <li>He has toughness about him on the defensive end, which causes havoc for the opposing teams</li> <li>A strong, skilled post player who is relentless on the glass during a contest</li> <li>Josh is extremely talkative on both ends of the floor being a vocal leader for his teammates</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>49) [player_tooltip player_id="1188019" first="Terek" last="Crosby"] / 6’2 / shooting guard / Yough High School</strong></p> <ul> <li>This youngster plays with tons of energy and looks to make good things happen on both ends of the floor</li> <li>He is a prolific scorer from the guard position and plays with a competitive end to him</li> <li>Terek is another coach on the court with his court awareness and high basketball IQ</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>These young, newly added players will be a focal point moving forward this summer on the hoop court.
