In this Summer’s installment of rankings the top spot goes to a transplant from Indiana who will be attending RSL Academy as one of the top 2023 prospects in America.
6’1 PG Dravyn Gibbs-Lawhorn Dravyn Gibbs-Lawhorn 6'2" | PG Montverde Academy | 2023 #42 Nation FL || RSL Academy || Indian Elite ||
With early offers from Indian and Purdue Dravyn’s recruitment is likely to explode once he is fully healthy and recovered from an injury that has sidelined him for awhile. He’s also got schools like Butler, Cincy and Michigan State very interested. This kid is tough as he averaged 21 PPG on a broken foot.
Gibbs is an attack first PG that can get by defenders with a quick first step or a change of direction. He is really good from deep as well and he is impressive on the defensive end as he likes to compete. He is a high percentage shooter from mid-range and long range. He is nearly at 50% in both categories. He will be an exciting player to watch as RSL Academy loves to get up and down the floor as they take shot attempts in 9 to 15 seconds.
