Obviously, these players will change, grow, and some may rise or fall. This is not a team with only the very top players in our rankings. I try to figure out who would be the best “fit” and how this might play out if these players were all on the same team.

Team Notes
Instead of calling this a “Super Team”, “Dream Team” might be a better name. They would have everything a great team would need: ball handlers, creators, distributors, shooters, rebounders, defenders, athletes, and hustlers. Sem would be the star on this team and lead the way. He can score from all over the court and dunk on demand. Sem can also protect the rim and turn the ball over. He could run the PG but also play off the ball. Schafer would step in and handle point duties as well. Shafer would be another scorer that can shoot and score off the bounce. He would do a nice job taking care of the ball and playing solid defense. Deng would be a long athletic wing that can open eyes. He would get out in passing lanes on defense and rebound with the best of them. Deng would be electric in transition and space the floor on offense. He is an elite athlete; it would be fun to watch him playing with other players at his level. Holzer would be an excellent stretch 4. His length would help on defense and rebounding. I like him in this spot because he would not force anything, yet he would provide a scoring punch if defenders helped off him. Holzer would be effective picking and popping with the quick athletic guards on this team. Zeller would be the bully and physical force inside. He would dominate the low block on O and D. They would rely on his finishing ability and dominance on the glass. Coming off the bench would be the gifted and physical Brandt. His length and athleticism would be perfect to fill in at the 4 and 5. His leaping ability and long arms would be a welcomed addition. Yorke would be the bulldog off the bench! He would fit in at the 2 and 3 positions. He would put pressure on perimeter defenders when attacking the rim with his quick first step. Yorke is always under control and is a physical specimen. Haerer would be the cool and calm guard that would play the 1 and 2. He is a slick ball handler and a smooth passer. Haerer would also stretch the floor with his effective 3-point shooting. Moni would add in a physical presence, strength, and height. His dominant drop step on the block would demand attention. If teams double, he would kick to shooters or slashers. Moni could also play the 4 and provide some 3-point shooting from a big man. Jochim would be the 3-point sniper for this team. His job would be to run off screens, balance the floor, and hit triples. He would also get out in transition and score in the up-tempo. Wow, this would be a fun group of players to watch hoop! It will be interesting in a year from now to look back at this article and see how everyone has developed. Either way, these players are great basketball players.
