off-season improved as much as Washington. The changes he made in his body were obvious but with his game, his decision making, passing, and ability to take defenders off the dribble and finish have all improved and when you add his marksmanship from three, the 6-foot-4 junior bears a resemblance to the Oregon high school version of James Harden. Paired with teammate [player_tooltip player_id="861099" first="Marquis" last="Cook"], they will make a one-two punch that is unrivaled anywhere in the state. Washington is our pre-season pick for Player of the Year, making it three out of the last four seasons the 6A POY will have worn a Demos jersey.</p>
