With the start of the season less than two months away, there are still a number of senior forwards and posts looking for a home at the college level. Here’s a look at the top available at those positions that are evaluating their college options.

[player_tooltip player_id="855933" first="Josh" last="Wart"] (2021 Amity)

Extremely tough, hard-nosed and hard-working forward. Ambidextrous and is adept at shooting and finishing with either hand. Very difficult to handle inside by smaller players and can step out, knock down jumpers, or create off of the dribble. Finishes hard at the rim. Would be a steal for D2/NAIA programs.

[player_tooltip player_id="855932" first="Braden" last="Hudgins"] (2021 Forest Grove)

With added bulk to his frame, has become a stretch-four type of player. Posseses a clean stroke from beyond the arc and uses his strength to finish around the hoop. Competitive on the boards and holds his ground defensively against post players. Has received D-III interest.

[player_tooltip player_id="855953" first="Mo" last="Hartwich"] (2021 Columbia Christian)

Lanky seven-footer that continues to develop as a versatile big man. Runs the floor well, finishes plays at the hoop, and can step out and hit face-up jumpers. Defensively a dominant shot-blocker at the 2A level.

[player_tooltip player_id="855940" first="Jude" last="Ashpole"] (2021 Gladstone)

Tough, no-nonsense lefty that plays with urgency. Strong around the hoop but has the skill to step outside and hit open jumpers or create off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id="1005095" first="Cameron" last="Andre-Covington"] (2021 Columbia Christian)

Lean, athletic forward with clear upside. Runs the floor extremely well, finishes in transition above the rim, and can step outside and hit perimeter shots. Young for his grade so could be reclassifying.

[player_tooltip player_id="855961" first="Tate" last="Reese"] (2021 Sunset)

Long and lanky forward who has potential as a stretch-four depending on how tall he grows. Spots up well for threes on all spots of the court. Uses length effectively as a weak side shot blocker.

[player_tooltip player_id="855969" first="Justin" last="Hamilton"] (2021 Crescent Valley)

Traditional post player with decent hands and footwork. Soft lefty shot while facing the basket out to mid-range. Fundamentally sound on the boards and holds his ground defensively.
