Let’s take a look at some of the top rebounders I saw at Hoops Hustlers’ Tipoff Classic from this past weekend at Suwanee Sports Academy.

[player_tooltip player_id="806775" first="Kai" last="Simmons"] (2021, GA Canes) - The most potent part of his game at 6-8

[player_tooltip player_id="758360" first="RJ" last="Godfrey"] (2022, Atlanta XPress) - So quick off the deck with amazingly sticky hands, goes to the glass with an abandon

[player_tooltip player_id="869584" first="Isaac" last="Abidde"] (2021, AC Georgia) - Easily good enough to be on multiple lists from the weekend, at 6-8 with a college body is a force on the glass

Dastin Hart (2023, Wood Elite) - Combos great effort with sneaky athleticism to be a top rising cleaner

Khameron Hill (2023, GA Kings Billingsley) - Big body but nimble and crafty to the glass

Darius Reynolds (2023, GA Fire Premier) - So quick off the deck, combines good size with a great frame

Monte Callaway (2022, West Alabama Elite [AL]) - Not overly big or strong but so smart and plays the position game on the glass

Avery Childress (2022, West Alabama Elite [AL]) - Outworks and out-hustles as wing rebounder and a pain in the neck

Zaquien Whitehead (2022, Tri-City Elite) - One of the better pure big men I saw, great length and and quick to the ball off the miss

R’Chaun King (2024, TSF) - A man already at an early stage, simply can out-physical most 2024s and is built like a truck

[player_tooltip player_id="1050448" first="Micah" last="Smith"] (2024, AOT) - Simply too good to not appear on multiple lists, at a freakishly athletic 6-7 and long can dominate the glass in spurts

Sam Alexis (2023, Team Tmac [FL], pictured above) - So impressive across the board it was his rebounding that put him in the D1 category right now

Jeremiah Flournoy (2022, D-Favors Celtics) - A bit undersized under the rim but makes up for it with effort and craftiness

[player_tooltip player_id="598745" first="Alex" last="Acosta"] (2022, GA Legacy) - Put on one of the weekend’s best single-game rebounding performances with great positioning and hustle

[player_tooltip player_id="870163" first="Domonik" last="Henderson"] (2022, GA Canes) - My first time seeing him and he blew me away with his lift, athleticism and undeterred fight on the boards

Jared Weakley (2022, Heat Elite [NY]) - Like a jumping jack, never gave up on the play, good size and terrific hands
