6’3 G Rex Sunderland Rex Sunderland 6'4" | PG Davis | 2022 State UT | Davis High School | Utah Prospects
While Rex has been fun to watch during his high school career the talented guard has seen the floor since he was a freshman. Now entering the Spring where he will prepare for his senior year. Rex is a prospect that needs to be recruited as almost an athlete because he can run 1-3, because the kid can defend. In his first tournament he was able to defend 4- & 5-star players and give them fits. At the level he is playing sometimes shutting players down is a tall task but slowing them down is realistic. Rex has PG skills as he has great vision and he knows when to keep it and when to pass it up. Breaking players off the dribble to create continues to improve and keep an eye on his long ball shooting, if he can shoot at a high percentage there is no way schools can pass up on his motor and complete game.
6’4 W Kam Dupaix Kam Dupaix 6'5" | CG Bingham | 2022 State UT | Bingham High School | Utah Premier
Kam is a tweener as a 3-4. This is not a bad thing at all, especially at the high school level when players like Kam can use their guard skills and big skills to generate offense. Kam is one of those players that can defend 1-4. Switch defensively is not an issue as he can move very well laterally. With some athletic ability Kam rebounds well and he can finish at the rim in various ways. Kam needs to improve his ball handling and his perimeter game and this Spring is a great time for him to increase his stock.
6’9 C Bowen Davies Bowen Davies 6'8" | PF Murray | 2022 State UT | Murray High School | Utah Force
Bowen is a serviceable big that could use a standout Spring. Bowen needs to play against the best players available in every tournament. Playing locally might not be enough to get him on the map when it comes to recruiters. Bowen has skills and he showed it by flirting with double-doubles all year. 10 ppg and 7 rpg was making him a force on both ends of the floor. Stretching the floor, a bit and being more aggressive will come as the competition increases. Look for him to take advantage of this Spring.
6’4 CG Merrick Sherwood Merrick Sherwood 6'4" | SG Mountain Ridge | 2022 State UT | Mountain Ridge | Salt Lake Metro
Merrick is a do it all guard that has been known locally as he had a major freshman year at Providence Hall, when he made the move to a bigger classification there was some growing pain but he was still able to hold his own. Merrick will play some 3 with his AAU team and he could really impress with his ability to just stat stuff on both ends of the floor. Merrick has an opportunity to really bring to the surface his sleeper status as a college prospect.
