The class of 2021 rankings are out and with that we have to show you Colorado’s top seniors. The past high school and Grassroots season we saw a lot of players in the class of 2021 putting in work. Here are some our choices for the top forwards in the class of 2021.

[player_tooltip player_id="759261" first="Isaiah" last="Thompson"]- Fountain-Fort Carson

The CSU-Pueblo commit [player_tooltip player_id="759261" first="Isaiah" last="Thompson"] had impressed over the AAU season and followed up with a great senior season. In his final high school season he averaged a double-double putting up 19.8 points and 12.3 rebounds. Isaiah has a college ready body and has good height standing at 6’7. He is a versatile player who does not mind banging down low for rebounds but can also step out and take in slower bigs off of the dribble. Isaiah will be another great local Colorado kid to watch compete in the very competitive RMAC conference.

[player_tooltip player_id="759260" first="Deangelo" last="Horn"]- Rock Canyon

[player_tooltip player_id="759260" first="Deangelo" last="Horn"] is a player who always just seems to find himself in the right spot. Over the last AAU season he was consistently his teams best or second best scorer just by knowing how to move off of the ball and filling cutting lanes. Deangelo has also made big strides on improving his jumpshot and it has come a long way within the last year, now he is a threat from mid range and deep. Deangelo also is a player who just hustles, despite not being the biggest player (at 6'6) he is always hunting down rebounds and loose balls. He is great role/glue guy who’s game that will transfer to the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="1050068" first="Keither" last="Florence"]- Colorado Prep

[player_tooltip player_id="1050068" first="Keither" last="Florence"] is one the most explosive athletes in Colorado currently. When he is driving to the rim you better watch your head because he has some serious bounce. The question with Keither coming into Colorado Prep was, is he going to be able to be more then just a dunker? He came in and showed that he can be. Keither a good ability to cut and find his spots to finish around the rim, with his elite athleticism he can rise up and get in good position to finish layups over defenders. This athleticism also comes in handy on the defensive end of the court where he can get up and block shots. Keither is an exciting player who’ll we will keep an eye on as he goes off to next level where ever he ends up!

[player_tooltip player_id="1029180" first="Keegan" last="Phillips"]- Douglas County

The UCCS commit [player_tooltip player_id="1029180" first="Keegan" last="Phillips"] has some of the best potential of anyone in this class. Keegan stands at 6’6 and is very good athlete who can get up for some crazy dunks. He also has a knockdown set jumper from the outside. With Keegan it is going to be about whether or not he can translate these abilities he has to the court. There are times when Keegan looks like one of the best players in the gym and other times when he just fits in. Once he finds his role in college as a slasher/ shooter type player I can see him being a huge problem for opposing teams to guard, you can call me a fan!

[player_tooltip player_id="965751" first="Joah" last="Armour"]- Manitou Springs

Joah this year committed to play at Nebraska Wesleyan, a very good D3 program! Joah is a player who is very raw but the sky is the limit for him. He stands at 6'7 and is another great athlete. Joah is a player who thrives when running the floor, he is faster then most guys at his size and loves to finish above the rim on fastbreaks. Also his jumpshot form looks good now, definitely something good to build on. He adds a good defensive presence to whatever team he plays with. Joah will be a fun player to track as he goes off to college.
