ND Lion’s Class B All-Star Basketball Team

<p>The Lions All-Star teams have been released! This awesome event is tentatively set to happen on July 12 at Bismarck Legacy High School and July 13 at West Fargo High School. Aiden is a prolific scorer that does it all. Alex is a very tough player. He is versatile and athletic. He will match up well with the A forwards. I am expecting a big performance from Huber.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="750159" first="Bronson" last="Walter"] (2021) |6-10 F| Four Winds/Minnewaukan</strong> – They will need his size vs. the Bigs from Class A. It will be fun to watch him on the block against Moni. I was really impressed with his passing ability out of the post.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="750161" first="Caleb" last="Duffield"] (2021) |5-11 G| Bowman County </strong>– A pure shooter with great form. Caleb moves well without the ball. If the class A player’s close-out with a hand-down he will make them pay.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/03/Gavin-Keller.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1147641" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/03/Gavin-Keller-214x300.jpeg" alt="" width="214" height="300" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="731867" first="Gavin" last="Keller"] (2021) |6-9 F| Kindred</strong> – They will need his size, shot-blocking, and rim-protecting against a large Class A team. Gavin can hit the 15-foot jumper consistently. They will need him to have big games rebounding as well.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="750171" first="Isaiah" last="Bundy-Smith"] (2021) |6-5 F| Rugby</strong> – A big-time athlete that will match up well with the Class A wings and forwards. He can do it all from all over the court.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="750170" first="Jaeshaun" last="Shaw"] (2021) |5-10 G| Four Winds/Minnewaukan</strong> – A great on-ball defender with excellent anticipation. His active hands and feet lead to turnovers. Shaw has a motor that never stops. He is an aggressive slasher and smooth finisher.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="531491" first="Lucas" last="Schumacher"] (2021) |6-2 G| Linton/HMB</strong> – He is an excellent athlete and marksman from downtown. Get ready for 3’s and slam dunks from Lucas. He will need to have a big night scoring if Class B wants to compete. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1124141" first="Luke" last="Wanzek"] (2021) |6-4 G| Shiloh Christian</strong> – This lefty can score from all over the court. His size and athleticism make him a tough defender.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="731907" first="Stevan" last="Garza"] (2021) |6-3 G| Grafton </strong>– A superb athlete that can move like the wind. He can be a lockdown defender. Walker is a crafty player that can fill it up inside and out.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1124138" first="Warren" last="Walker"] (2021) |6-2 G| Rugby</strong> – He plays with great energy and his motor never stops. Warren is an exceptional athlete. It will be fun to see him go head-to-head with the class A athletes.</p> <p><strong><u>Alternates</u></strong>:</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="731896" first="Colton" last="Konschak"] (2021) |6-5 G| Hatton Northwood </strong>– A big, tall, and lanky guard. Colton has a long wingspan that helps with deflections and shot-blocking. He can also step out and drill the 3. Evan is also a great rebounder.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1115532" first="Grant" last="Gerving"] (2021) |6-1 G| Glen Ullin/Hebron</strong> – He has textbook shooting form. Grant has good feet, and he has a soft release. He is very unselfish. Grant is a 3-point threat that only needs an inch to get his shot off.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="750160" first="Jase" last="Crockett"] (2021) |5-9 G| Northern Cass</strong> – A sniper from beyond the arc. Jase has a perfect pullup jumper from deep range. He can score in bunches and really put some pressure on the defense.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1126985" first="Tanner" last="Soehren"] (2021) |6-4 F| Dickinson Trinity</strong> – He has solid footwork in and around the paint. Tanner is a strong frontcourt player. He seals well and pins the defense deep.
