In this article, a follow-up to Spring Stockrisers, we take a look at some potential Spring Stockrisers.
RJ Nance 5’10 CG LV Knicks 2024 – Nance is a smooth scorer that can get to the bucket and finish with both hands. The lefty has good blow-by ability and shows nice concentration when finishing at the rim around traffic. He also has a strap, shooting it well from distance with a nice release and follow through. He was good this past weekend playing out in California.
Chris Dockery 6’6 SF LV Knicks 2022 – It has been a remarkable two years for Dockery. He has gone from a gruesome leg injury, to fully recovered and now one of the top rising prospects on the West Coast. The lean athlete has prototypical college wing size, combined with some big-time explosiveness. He already has offers from the likes of San Jose St, Nevada, and Utep, expect more to come after the summer.
Javares Reid Javares Reid 6'9" | C Rosemary Anderson Prep | 2024 State OR 6’6 West Coast Select 2024 – Reid has been developing nicely from week to week. As they say, “He looks the part” Now the long, physical specimen has started to embrace his role as a high-energy, high motor, rebounder. He performed well this past weekend out at the Prep Hoops event in Colorado. As he continues to develop his offense and shows consistency, expect his stock to rise.
Keba Keita Keba Keita 6'9" | C Wasatch Academy | 2022 State #157 Nation UT 6’6 PF Utah Empire 2022 (featured image) – Keita is an absolute monster, who impacts games with his shot-blocking and rebounding. He has a power 5 frame right now, and the athleticism to go along with it. He understands what he is, and relishes the opportunity to protect the rim. With the dead period being rumored to be removed June 1st, expect interest in Keba to rise.
Zab Santana Zab Santana 6'5" | CG Cedar City | 2022 State UT 6’4 CG LV Punishers 2022 – Satana is a hot commodity right now. After coming off a 4A championship, the 6’4 scorer has decided to run with the Las Vegas based UA program the Punishers. He’ll be a terrific addition to the squad and should have ample opportunities to showcase his talent this summer. Any school looking for a winner would do themselves a favor by taking a hard look at Santana.
