Tuesday’s Top Regional Matchups

<p>More teams had their seasons end last night and every region should be in the semifinals or finals by the end of the night. Let’s take a look at the top games in the Commonwealth tonight.</p> <p><strong>Marshall County vs Graves County - </strong><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="773408" first="Zion" last="Harmon"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1111950" first="Cole" last="Mills"]</strong> are trying to get the Marshalls back to Rupp Arena but they’ll have their hands full with a Graves team that has won 14 of their last 15 games. They did not play in the regular season but <strong>Drew Thompson</strong> and the Eagles have aspirations of getting to Rupp and it starts tonight.</p> <p><strong>Greenwood vs Barren County - </strong>Greenwood hopes for a 4th shot at Bowling Green tomorrow but first they have to knock off Barren County. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="926895" first="Cade" last="Stinnett"]</strong> is best player on the court in this one but <strong>Mason Griggs and Taye Porter </strong>are not going to go easily.</p> <p><strong>Scott vs Mason County - </strong>Sophomore <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1110296" first="Terrell" last="Henry"]</strong> has been named to every 10th region first team that exists and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="923064" first="Grant" last="Profitt"]</strong> is the Player of the Year for the 10th. Scott and Mason are both capable of winning the whole region and this game should be a dandy.</p> <p><strong>Lexington Catholic vs Madison Central - </strong>A rematch of one of the best games I’ve been to this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="604116" first="Ben" last="Johnson"]</strong> is the heavy favorite for Mr Basketball but <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="932775" first="Jaylen" last="Davis"] and [player_tooltip player_id="700979" first="Kole" last="Browne"] </strong>would like to end Johnson’s career without a trip to state.</p> <p><strong>Pulaski County vs Lincoln County - </strong>The 12th region has been wide open all season and Pulaski is riding a 6 game win streak into this one while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="638866" first="Jaxon" last="Smith"] </strong>and the Patriots knocked off West Jessamine in the quarterfinals. It should be a great game and a true toss up.</p> <p><strong>South Laurel vs Clay County - </strong>Clay Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="923012" first="Connor" last="Robinson"]</strong> is anxious to get to Rupp Arena but the Cards are the next hurdle in his path. <strong>Micah Anders</strong> is having a great season and if Clay struggles to make shots, South Laurel can definitely give them a challenge.</p> <p><strong>Belfry vs Shelby Valley - </strong>The <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1033475" first="Sal" last="Dean"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1111951" first="Bol" last="Kuir"]</strong> show continues as they take on <strong>Kaden Robinson and [player_tooltip player_id="923054" first="Keian" last="Worrix"].</strong> Their previous matchup was a barn burner that ended in a 3 point Shelby Valley win. </p>
