4A Sectionals are underway and we have got a big slate of high school hoops going on in the state of Indiana. Let us dive on in and take a look at some highlights of Friday’s night of hoops.

Sectional 15 was the place to be!

Wow, what a night in Seymour, IN. First, you had Bedford North Lawrence come back from being down 14 in the third quarter behind big plays down the stretch from Kooper Staley, Ben Cosner, and Colten Leach. With 6.5 sec remaining, BNL drove the length of the court and Ben Cosner hit the game winning 15fter to give the Stars the upset victory over New Albany. Following that, you had Jeffersonville vs Floyd Central, a game that went into 3OTs. There were tons of great games from our prospects including [player_tooltip player_id="926885" first="Brandon" last="Rayzer-Moore"] with 24 points, [player_tooltip player_id="769655" first="Will" last="Lovings-Watts"] with 17 points, and [player_tooltip player_id="569350" first="Jake" last="Heidbreder"] with 31 points. In the end, it was Jeffersonville’s Lovings-Watts hitting a last second drive to advance them to play Bedford in that championship tonight.

Sectional 8: Smith will not quit!

[player_tooltip player_id="870222" first="Braden" last="Smith"] has arguably been the best player this whole week in Indiana. Had an outstanding Tuesday with 23 points, including 5 threes, but last night he nearly doubled that with his 41 point performance. Westfield defeated Noblesville last night 81-74 and the Millers just had no answer to Smith. Carmel also defeated Hamilton Southeastern which will set up a huge championship game tonight. Can Smith single handedly take down one of Indiana’s top teams? The way he has been playing, it would not be a surprise.
