There’s still talent left on the board in the 2021 class.

The state of Tennessee still has plenty of talent to choose from.

Here’s another set of potential steals from this season’s senior class.

[player_tooltip player_id="775567" first="Cameron" last="Donegan"], Tipton-Rosemark Academy: The Rebels are in the final four of the Division II-A Boys State Tournament and Donegan is one of the main reasons why the program’s postseason run is still going. In TRA’s 67-60 win over FACS in the DII-A West Region Tournament, Donegan had 17 points. In the win, Donegan, at just 5-foot-9, was getting downhill, finishing strong at the basket and knocking down shots from the perimeter. His quickness and smooth ball handles have caused teams problems this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1119934" first="Joshua" last="Ward"], FACS: The Crusaders’ postseason ended Saturday at Goodpasture, but Ward had a great season for the program, averaging 16.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.2 steals per game. At point guard, Ward made the right basketball play, whether it was to shot or pass. He was very unselfish on a team that had other players that could score. Ward hardly ever settled for a jump shot. If the lane was open, he was driving into it. Ward, at 6-1, has a high basketball IQ, which helped FACS have success this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="537277" first="Isaiah" last="Jones"], Arlington: Jones isn’t the most athletic wing left in the class, but he has tools that could help a college program. The 6-8 forward can score with his back to the basket on the block, knock down shots from mid-range and from 3. Jones can put the ball on the floor, an area of his game he improved on as a junior at East Nashville. Jones currently sits on offers from Kentucky State, Cumberland University and Fisk University. His ability to score and contest shots at the rim would be beneficial to either program.

[player_tooltip player_id="537286" first="Eli" last="Federman"], Christian Brothers: It could be said that Federman is the driving force behind the Purple Wave’s undefeated season, even though [player_tooltip player_id="996878" first="Chandler" last="Jackson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="775550" first="Reese" last="McMullen"] are on the roster. Federman does all of the small things, such as dive for the 50-50 balls, take charges, plays hard on every possession and communicates on both ends of the floor. The senior point guard hasn’t been praised enough, so here are his flowers. Sooner or later, a college program will pull the trigger and take him.

[player_tooltip player_id="775555" first="JaQuan" last="Lax"], Bolivar: Lax has had a solid senior season, which shouldn’t come as a surprise to people. The 6-1 point guard can score from different areas on the floor. He’s at his best when he’s in transition. Lax can knock down shots at a high clip. He plays smart defense as well. Lax moves his feet and doesn’t have the bad habit of reaching when he’s in front of his defender. He always seems to know where the basketball is on the floor.
