In this article we’re going to be looking at the top available senior PF prospects still uncommitted. We’ve already taken a look at over 10 PG, SG and SF senior prospects that are among the best of the best at their position. With that being said, let’s take a look at some of the top available PF.

[player_tooltip player_id="855927" first="Keyshawn" last="Hall"], 6’6 PF Cleveland Heights 2021: Hall really came onto the scene during his Junior season for Rhodes in the Cleveland Senate league. Hall has very impressive lateral quickness and change of pace for a guy his size. He can play on the perimeter and put the ball on the floor with a variety of dribble moves and counters to get to the basket. The jumper is the real question mark for Hall, and if he can make it more consistent. Low Major and D2 schools should be taking hard looks at Hall because he’s a very unique prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id="805144" first="Elhadji" last="Thiam"], 6’7 PF Pickerington Central: Thiam has been hurt all season for Pickerington Central, but that shouldn’t allow you to forget about his talents as a prospect. Thiam had a big time summer for NOVA with some other unsigned Central Ohio studs. Thiam is a modern day big man, who can really run the floor and protect the rim. Thiam is able to play either the PF or C position at the next level. Colleges shouldn’t let a senior year injury allow Thiam to slip through the cracks because when healthy, he is one of the better big men in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="918989" first="Davon" last="Smith Johnson"], 6’5 PF Cleveland Heights 2021: I haven’t gotten to see Cleveland Heights this year, as the one game I was planning on attending was cancelled the night before the game. With that being said, I still believe both Hall and Smith Johnson are among the top available PF in the state. At the NEO Top 20 combine second session, it was clear who the best player in the gym was. Smith Johnson seemed to be putting it all together heading into his senior season, and I’m a little disappointed I haven’t gotten the chance to see him again after that dominant showing against other college prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id="919026" first="Royal" last="Sibley"], 6’6 PF Whitehall 2021: Sibley has one of the longest wingspans among forwards in the state, allowing him to make a lot of defensive stock (blocks and steals) plays for his team. When I saw Sibley against Trotwood-Madison, I saw just how dominant Sibley can be with an up tempo contest that tries to create chaos on both ends. Sibley did hit a couple 3-pointers from the corner as well, shooting has been a question for him. I believe programs looking to play at a fast tempo that are looking for a PF that can make a lot of high-impact defensive plays should be offering Sibley.

[player_tooltip player_id="1041445" first="Ian" last="Schupp"], 6’5 PF Worthington Kilbourne 2021: Schupp is an impressive athlete, with a college-ready frame to play either forward position. He can space the floor and is very efficient around the basket. I was impressed with Schupp’s leadership skills in the one game I caught of his in person this season. Schupp was sat for a majority of the first half in foul trouble, came out in the second half and refused to let his team lose and brought them back from a significant deficit. If I was a D2 program watching that night, I would’ve offered him before he walked out of the gym. Schupp is a no doubt scholarship kid in my eyes and should be receiving much more recruiting interest than he currently is.
