Cahmai Crosby 6’3″ Park Hill South: The talented guard is one of the top underclassmen in the KC area and he has been putting in plenty of work in his first year as a varsity starter. He has a good feel for the game and fluid moves off the bounce. And he can shoot it. For the season, he is averaging a team-high 12.4 points a game to go along with three rebounds and two steals a good.
Marqueas Bell 6’1″ Park Hill: The talented lefty guard has been one of the most productive players coming off the bench that I’ve watched this season. He brings instant offense with his ability to score at all three levels. His older brother Ronnie is a former Park Hill star bucket-getter and Marqueas looks well-equipped to continue to the family business. He’s smooth in his movements and has good length to excel at both ends of the court. He is averaging 10 points and three rebounds a game for a very good Park Hill team that is currently 14-3.
Arhmad Branch 5’10 Festus: An electric young point guard who can impact games with his speed and quickness at both ends of the court. He can create buckets for himself and distribute the ball with his court vision. He is also a ball hawk on defense. He is averaging 15 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals while making 36 percent of his 3-pointers.
Josh Reeves 6’1″ Golden City: The young shooting guard has proven to be an excellent No. 2 scoring option to compliment dynamic bucket-getter Lane Dunlap Lane Dunlap 5'10" | CG Golden City | 2021 State MO . He goes about his business of putting up numbers in a quiet manner with his ability to score on dribble drives and knock down 3-pointers. He is also not afraid to take the big shots in the key moments of games. He scored a game-high 30 points in a victory over Bronaugh last week.
Nilivan Daniels 6’2″ Chaminade: A very energetic wing player who has found a nice role on a 15-1 Red Devils team that is one of the best in the state. He can score when needed, but he is also a very active rebounder and defender who will also make the hustle plays to help his team. He had a nice breakout game against Class 4, No. 1 Vashon earlier this season with 14 points and three 3-pointers. For the season, he is averaging 7.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 44 percent from 3-point range.
Cooper Wilken 5’9″ Weaubleau: I have watched this young guard play twice this season and came away impressed with his play both times. The last time was earlier this week when he scored 26 points in a big victory over conference foe Dadeville. He showed his 3-point shooting stroke by knocking down five triples. When defenders closed out on him, he was able to get to the basket off the dribble to either score and draw fouls and get himself to the free throw line.
