Here are the top players from tonight’s game:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="1046352" first="Treysen" last="Eaglestaff"] (2022) |6-5 F| Bismarck – He finished with 26 points on the night and looked like a D1 basketball player. Treysen was raining 3’s all night. He has a great hesitation move that gets defenders off balance. I liked how he got into the lane, jumped stopped, and found room to get his shot off. He has a great feel for the game and finishes with flexibility. His long arms create many deflections on defense and make him a good rebounder. Is Treysen the best in the WDA?

2. [player_tooltip player_id="750158" first="Deonte" last="Martinez"] (2021) |5-11 G| Minot – His pull-up game was looking good tonight. I enjoy watching how he changes gears and bursts by the D when he attacks. #23 can stop on a dime and get his soft J off anytime he wants. Deonte had a few acrobatic finishes at the rim tonight that will have to be added to his highlight film. He is a strong ball-handler and passer who seems to never get rattled. Deonte is the best on-ball defender in North Dakota.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="1050246" first="Darik" last="Dissette"] (2023) |6-3 F| Minot – He was shooting it well tonight and responded every time Minot needed a basket to keep it close. Darik moves well without the ball and has good feet when spotting up for three-pointers. He put in a few nice floaters/runners in the game. His long arms allow him to get his shot off in traffic. He had one impressive step-back move that deserves another look at in the film room. I was impressed with his free throw shooting tonight. Darik has a very high ceiling.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="750174" first="Max" last="Tschosik"] (2021) |5-11 G| Bismarck – A great ball-handler with a stellar hesitation move. He has a nice looking 3-point shot, who needs to shoot more in my opinion. I like how he changes speeds when he has the rock in his possession. Max has great body control and has a nice runner/floater. He is one of the more underrated guards in the WDA. Max is a great passer when attacking the paint.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="1111173" first="Eric" last="Wentz"] (2022) |6-2 G| Minot – He looked good attacking the basket with his left hand from the right-wing. Eric is great at finishing with his opposite hand. Wentz has impressive hops that he showed off rebounding and finishing at the rim. Eric is a long athletic active defender. He has solid shooting form with loads of potential.

6. [player_tooltip player_id="731866" first="Gunner" last="Swanson"] (2021) |6-5 F| Bismarck – He is a quick leaper with lighting fast feet. Gunner is a lights out shooter. He is good on the O-boards. I was impressed with his high release shot.

7. [player_tooltip player_id="996110" first="Logan" last="Schaubert"] (2021) |6-2 F| Bismarck – A hard-working lefty. He brings energy and does not relent. Logan lets it fly from deep and can put them down as well. I like how he can make passes with both hands on the perimeter. He is an opportunistic scorer who works hard on the boards.

8. Teagan Kinchen (2021) |5-10 G| Minot – He shot it well tonight making multiple 3-pointers. Teagan is a reliable ball-handler and distributor. I like how he spaces the floor and takes his shots in rhythm.

9. RaShawn Wilcox (2021) |5-8 G| Minot – He has solid handles and takes care of the ball. RaShawn is a spark plug of energy on defense. He has slick quick hands-on defense.

10. Cade Kivisto (2021) |5-5 G| Bismarck – Hard-working glue guy off the bench. I like how he penetrates and kicks. Cade makes others around him better players. He had a very nice spin-move and finish late in the game.
