The Cedar City Showcase took place on Sunday, January 10th at the Southern Utah Sports Academy. The event featured 5 Nevada club teams and offered an excellent opportunity for players to compete and gain exposure. The event featured several standout players. In this article, we take a look at our all-tournament team. Note: This team is based on players performance for this event only.

1st Team

[player_tooltip player_id="927128" first="Coleman" last="Lemke"] 6’8 PF Team Rouge (#19PHN 2021) - Did what D1 guys should do. Made tough shots and showed an amazing ability to set up teammates off the bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id="859645" first="Michael" last="Klekas"] 6’3 SF Elko 2022 (#9PHN 2022) - Named best tough shot maker of the event. The guy just knows how to play the game. Ambidextrous down low steps out and burries 3’s.

[player_tooltip player_id="856637" first="Sebastian" last="Mack"] 6’1 CG Purple Reign 2023 (#1PHN 2023) - Ho-hum, Mack doled out his usual array of buckets, knocking down 3’s and pulling up for mid-range jumpers, and getting a dunk as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="930656" first="Sterling" last="Knox"] 6’4 SF Purple Reign 2023 (#3PHN 2023) (featured image) - Just doesn’t miss anymore. Knock down shooter that did a little bit of everything for PR.

[player_tooltip player_id="927119" first="Jaylen" last="Berry"] 6’2 PG Big Show Ballers (#20PHN 2021) - CSN is getting a steal. Berry’s handle and hesitation is advanced, considering he’s had little time to get in the gym he was impressive.

2nd Team

[player_tooltip player_id="985614" first="Isaiah" last="Dahl"] 6’3 SG Elko 2022 - Top shooter at the event sprayed 3’s from all over the court.

[player_tooltip player_id="985598" first="Sean" last="Klekas"] 6’0 PG Elko 2021 (#95PHN 2021) - Heady high IQ PG that controlled the tempo of the game for his team.

[player_tooltip player_id="859643" first="Shane" last="Thomas"] 6’3 SG Purple Reign 2022 (#6PHN 2022) - 3 and D guy who may be the best corner 3 point shooter on the West Coast.

Quinton Rice 6’1 SG Team Rouge 2021 - Scrappy defender that managed to score off drives to the hole.

Tommy Isabel 5’10 PG Blue Hoops 2025 - May be a bit of a reach for a player so young, but I was impressed with the poise and play of the 8th grader facing varsity competition.

Honorable Mention: [player_tooltip player_id="927147" first="Lowell" last="Chan"], Jevon Yapi, [player_tooltip player_id="858155" first="John" last="Board"], [player_tooltip player_id="927144" first="Davyon" last="Rowe"], [player_tooltip player_id="858174" first="Jackson" last="Williams"],
