<p>There’s been a lot of movement in the rankings since the last drop. Take a look at who’s on top in the latest edition of NCISAA Power Rankings.</p>
<h5>1. Carmel Christian School (11-1)</h5>
<p>Carmel Christian School finds themselves back in the top sot with three straight victories over Piedmont Classical, Anderson Christian and Calvary Day School. [player_tooltip player_id="574430" first="Justin" last="Taylor"] has surpassed the 1,000 point mark in his career while [player_tooltip player_id="642043" first="Ben" last="Burnham"], [player_tooltip player_id="1008879" first="Cade" last="Tyson"] and Kyle Bean find their stride on the wing. Bean put up 18 points and two made 3-pointers in their recent victory over Calvary Day School. They’ve proven to be one of the most talented teams in state given their record at 11-1. Look for them to make a lot of noise in states.</p>
<h5>2. Victory Christian Center (10-1)</h5>
<p>The Victory Christian Center Kings are 10-1 on the season following a strong weekend of victories over Comenius and Legion Collegiate Academy. They’ve been an impressive bunch led by [player_tooltip player_id="1028024" first="Demar" last="Anderson"], [player_tooltip player_id="1103910" first="Lewis" last="Duarte"], Tajuan & [player_tooltip player_id="1013056" first="Takai" last="Simpkins"], [player_tooltip player_id="1105093" first="Randi" last="Ovalle"] and recent addition, <strong>Deiman Reyes</strong>. [player_tooltip player_id="1013055" first="Tajuan" last="Simpkins"] put up 14 points, three assists and three rebounds, [player_tooltip player_id="1013056" first="Takai" last="Simpkins"] led the way with 20 points, [player_tooltip player_id="1028024" first="Demar" last="Anderson"] finish with 11 points, five rebounds and two steals and [player_tooltip player_id="1105093" first="Randi" last="Ovalle"] went for eight points on a perfect 3-of-3 shooting from the field and 2-of-2 from the arc. They’re a deep and talented squad college coaches need to get eyes on.</p>
<h5>3. Cannon School (10-2)</h5>
<p>Cannon School continues their ascent back to the top with victories over Gaston Christian and Concord Academy. [player_tooltip player_id="577868" first="DJ" last="Nix"] is leading the way with poise. He put up 30 points, five rebounds and four assists in their victory over Concord Academy on Monday. [player_tooltip player_id="848077" first="Karon" last="Boyd"] also had 17 and [player_tooltip player_id="932457" first="Jarvis" last="Moss"], who recently earned an offer from Stanford, put up 13 points. They’re slowly finding their way and should be a tough out as defending NCISAA 4A State Champions.</p>
<h5>4. Charlotte Christian (6-0)</h5>
<p>The Charlotte Christian Knights kept their perfect season alive thanks to a game-winning drive from [player_tooltip player_id="854884" first="Bryce" last="Cash"] against High Point Christian Academy. [player_tooltip player_id="1098343" first="David" last="Lash"] led the way with 21 points and eight rebounds. Cash dished out six assists and four rebounds to go along with 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting. [player_tooltip player_id="998228" first="Cade" last="Nicholson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1105098" first="TJ" last="Hardy"] both finished with 12 points apiece as well. They’re playing together and it’s showing in the end result as they approach key conference play.</p>
<h5>5. Greensboro Day School (8-2)</h5>
<p>Greensboro Day School took their second loss of the season to Concord Academy in a close one, but they remain in the Top 5. [player_tooltip player_id="848080" first="Michael" last="Zanoni"], [player_tooltip player_id="577888" first="Jaydon" last="Young"] and [player_tooltip player_id="887046" first="Tyler" last="Lundblade"] are all co-existing on the wings with Nik Graves leading the way at point guard. They’re a team that shouldn’t be taken lightly given their talent.</p>
<h5>6. High Point Christian Academy (9-2)</h5>
<p>High Point Christian Academy is coming off a tough two-point loss that saw KJ Garrett go off for 22 points, five rebounds and four assists, but they’re in good shape still with plenty of games left. 2022 <strong>Ethan Smith</strong> and 2023 guard <strong>Isaiah Sanders</strong> are two other prospects worth noting in their rotation as well.</p>
<h5>7. Cape Fear Christian Academy (9-2)</h5>
<p>Cape Fear Christian Academy finds themselves back into the Top 10 given their body of work and just two losses against national powerhouse Word of God. They’ve looked good under new direction and are led by the likes of [player_tooltip player_id="747011" first="Jabare" last="Perry"], [player_tooltip player_id="848069" first="Cinque" last="Lemon"], [player_tooltip player_id="848090" first="Tristan" last="Harkins"] and Amari Peason to name a few prospects. They’re an exciting squad to get eyes on by coaches on all levels.</p>
<h5>8. The Burlington School (7-2)</h5>
<p>The Burlington School Spartans are still lurking in the power rankings with UNC-Wilmington commit [player_tooltip player_id="838021" first="Jamarii" last="Thomas"] and Howard commit [player_tooltip player_id="838020" first="Kuluel" last="Mading"] leading the charge. Thomas leads the way with 21.3 ppg while Mading is right behind him with 10.4 ppg and 4.9 rpg. [player_tooltip player_id="1098355" first="Zion" last="Walker"] and [player_tooltip player_id="854890" first="Kobe" last="George"] have also come on strong for this squad of late. Walker is putting up 8.8 ppg and 5.6 rpg. George is putting up 8.5 ppg and 3.0 rpg. </p>
<h5>9. United Faith Christian Academy (7-2)</h5>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="932129" first="Xavier" last="McKelvy"] leads a up-tempo group that likes to score the basketball. He’s producing 20.2 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 2.1 apg, 1.6 spg and 1.2 bpg and remains one of the biggest risers in the 2022 class. [player_tooltip player_id="1111219" first="Marcus" last="Willis"] and [player_tooltip player_id="932116" first="LJ" last="Johnson"] are right behind him in terms of production. Willis is putting up 11.3 ppg, 4.5 apg, 3.3 rpg and 1.6 spg. Johnson is averaging 11.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg and 3.1 apg. 6-foot-10 senior big man [player_tooltip player_id="1105085" first="Quinton" last="Scheuermann"] is putting up 7.0 ppg, 8.1 rpg and 2.1 bpg. They’ve certainly got some prospects to watch.</p>
<h5>10. Lake Norman Christian (5-2)</h5>
<p>The Lake Norman Christian Storm have some time off with the holidays but they’ll return to action in the Beach Ball Classic from Dec. 26-31. Then, on Jan. 7, they face University Christian. Then they’ll face Victory Christian Center on Jan. 12, that should be a good one.</p>
