Smith is proving to be one of the best pure playmakers in North Carolina regardless of class, especially this season with the group of teammates he's surrounded with. The Senior PG has led his team to an 18-4 record on the season with a 10-1 mark in conference play. Smith is stuffing the stat sheet per usual with 20.4 Points, 4.1 Rebounds, 7.8 Assists, 2.4 Steals, and 0.6 Blocks per game. He's top five in the state in assists per game and that's been the best part of this senior season for Smith. He's showing real progression into a full time PG that is really looking to get his guys easy baskets and it's his pressure on the rim that allows him to create for others in the manner he does. Smith is obviously capable of taking a game over scoring the ball, he's still averaging over 20 PPG. The energy, leadership, maturity, and vision of Smith in his senior season have helped make Washington a truly legit NCHSAA 4A contender and giving him the chance to end his high school career with a fairytale finish.

Q is one of those guys that is simply elite at manipulating a game exactly how he wants it to go, one possession at a time. Forsyth Country Day is primed for a deep run in the NCISAA 4A division and Williams is truly the guy that makes them go. With a 26-2 record on the season, there's been a lot of winning for Forsyth Country Day and PG's are judged on their wins/losses. Williams uses his quickness and understanding of angles to make up for his lack of size. According to MaxPreps, Williams is averaging 13.8 Points, 1.3 Rebounds, 6.0 Assists, and 1.7 Steals per game. He's a vocal leader that helps bridge the gap from Coach Esleck and his staff to the rest of his teammates, the kind of skill that is vital to success at the next level for a Point Guard. It just feels like it's lining up for a Forsyth Country Day run and there's no doubt that Q Williams is more than ready to make that happen for his school.

Vickery will be ranked in the upper echelon of the 2027s in NC due to the reputation he's built for himself with his play over the last couple of years. That has translated to Myers Park and he's gotten more comfortable with this group as the season has gone along and when he's at his best, this team is difficult to beat. With Myers Park at 16-7 on the year, Vickery is averaging 19.4 Points, 7.0 Rebounds, 2.6 Assists, 1.1 Steals, and 1.1 Blocks per game. He's also doing it all on 46/36/66 shooting splits. He's got legit 3-level ability + on ball creation at 6'5" and only a junior. Vickery has a ton of tools, as he continues to embrace just how good he is, it will only allow him to become a more consistent winner vs high level competition. If he really dials it in coming into the playoffs, Myers Park can go on a real run in 8A.

Wilson is on a team that wins a lot of games with a ton of balance offensively at Mooresville but his steady production directly translates to success for this team and it's about time he gets some more recognition for the work he's been putting in. Mooresville is 18-2 on the season and Wilson has been consistently helping his team get these wins with his versatile game. He's averaging 12.8 Points, 5.9 Rebounds, 1.6 Assists, 1.9 Steals, and 1.3 Blocks per game. He's doing all of that on 51/34/61 splits as well. Wilson is a classic glue guy+, he does all of the dirty work but possesses the skill level to be a consistent primary producer for this team He's making himself known as a physical and productive player with a great foundational skillset. He should continue to garner more buzz if Mooresville can get on a deep playoff run in the NCHSAA 7A division.

Southeast Alamance has had the kind of season that will be remembered for quite a while and they find themselves firmly in the discussion amongst NCHSAA 5A title picture. With an 18-3 record overall and a 12-0 mark in conference, Southeast Alamance has a some key contributors but none are as important as Senior PG [player_tooltip player_id='2382791' first='Davian' last='Edwards']. He's averaging 21.4 Points, 3.8 Rebounds, 2.2 Assists, and 1.9 Steals per game. Edwards is doing all of that with 48/32/71 splits. Edwards is a constant threat with the basketball in his hands, possessing deep off the dribble range and a quick first step to blow by defenders. He's got a smooth mid-range game to keep the defense honest and uses his quickness to create havoc on the defensive end. Edwards and Southeast Alamance are having a special season. A deep playoff run would cement Edwards status as a next level player and he should garner more attention if he can maintain his production into the playoffs.
