This season they will have some new additions so of course it will take some time to mesh but they have a chance to be good this season. Their season begins this week as they have a matchup with Elevation Prep out in Charlotte.
Senior Guard Ricardo Polk is one of the few returners for this season and will look to take on the leadership role for the squad. He brings a toughness on and off the court that you have to appreciate as well as his ability to knock down shots and defend at a high level are all things that we feel college coaches will find intriguing about him.
Senior Guard Al Singleton could very well be the X factor for this team this season. Singleton can be a very nice role player for this team with his ability to knock down the trey ball. During the 9 Dime Fall League, the team was very dangerous when Singleton had it going from deep.
Junior Wing Jahmonie Jones is a new addition to the squad but brings athleticism and additional scoring. He plays the game with a high level of confidence and has the potential to be an outstanding player when he’s locked in.
Senior Point Guard Darrion Young plays the game from the PG spot the way that old school pass-first guards did. Although he can score the ball, he looks to get his teammates involved first, making nice passes which leads teammates to easy/high percentage buckets.
Junior Wing Antoine Gasque is a high flyer that will have his share of highlight dunks this season! The next step for him will be to use his athletic ability on both ends of the floor which will lead to plenty of blocked shots and rebounds.
