1.) [player_tooltip player_id="962678" first="Kaden" last="Hall"] (English Valleys, 2022) - 11.2 rebounds per game

Hall has been extremely productive in his first two high school seasons, ranking among the top 12 in rebounding in 1A as both a freshman and sophomore. He'll be the focal point of an English Valleys team that should be much improved this season.

2.) [player_tooltip player_id="962683" first="Ben" last="DeMeulenaere"] (Belle Plaine, 2022) - 11.1 rebounds per game

A highly efficient big man who does a great job sealing his man on the block, DeMeulenaere has exceptional hands and grabs every rebound that comes into his area.

3.) [player_tooltip player_id="962629" first="Eddie" last="Burgess"] (Montezuma, 2022) - 10.5 rebounds per game

Coming off perhaps the most impressive statistical season on the gridiron in state history, Burgess is also a key cog for a Braves team that will be among the best in 1A this year. A big body with good athleticism and great hands, he's dominant on the glass on both ends of the floor.

4.) [player_tooltip player_id="956883" first="Mason" last="Harter"] (Wapsie Valley, 2023) - 10.4 rebounds per game

Coming off an extremely productive freshman year at Sigourney, Harter moved to defending 1A champion Wapsie Valley during the offseason, and he'll be a huge piece for the Warriors in the defense of their title. He averaged 14.5 points to go with his 10.4 rebounds last year.

5.) [player_tooltip player_id="964853" first="Reed" last="Stallman"] (Alburnett, 2021) - 10.3 rebounds per game

Stallman is a bit undersized, but he's incredibly active on the glass on both ends of the floor. His constant movement and aggressiveness allow him to put up some big rebounding numbers.

6.) [player_tooltip player_id="796104" first="Angelo" last="Winkel"] (Bishop Garrigan, 2021) - 10.0 rebounds per game

The Augustana (SD) signee is one of the biggest matchup problems in 1A basketball with his size and athleticism. The 6-9 big man can score at will on the block, runs the floor extremely well and has decent touch on his jumper as well.

7.) [player_tooltip player_id="796176" first="Kaleb" last="Cornilsen"] (Easton Valley, 2021) - 10.0 rebounds per game

A versatile forward, Cornilsen was the focal point of an Easton Valley team that was ranked #1 in 1A heading into the postseason last year. Unfortunately, an injury kept him out of their substate game, and they were upset as a result. He has the ability to score from all three levels at an efficient clip, and he controls the glass on both ends of the floor.

8.) Cooper Kock (Ar-We-Va, 2022) - 10.0 rebounds per game

The only player on this list to not average double-figures in scoring, Kock put up just 7.0 points a game last year as a sophomore, but he did a great job controlling the glass.

9.) [player_tooltip player_id="796196" first="Tre" last="Melby"] (Logan-Magnolia, 2021) - 9.8 rebounds per game

The 6-9 big man towers over most of the other players on the court whenever he's on the floor. He's got good hands and is also a sought after prospect on the gridiron.

10.) Iziek Soper (Midland, 2021) - 9.4 rebounds per game

Soper pulled down over three offensive rebounds a game for the Eagles, leading to plenty of second chance points.
