This past weekend was the final week of Details Training sessions for the fall. Check out the prospects that stood out most to us in this recap Details Training: Week 4 Top Performers!

[player_tooltip player_id="821736" first="Blake" last="Peters"] (Evanston – 2021)

The Princeton signee was once again impressive at the Details Training sessions. He has made so many improvements in his ball handling and passing. Could legit be considered a lead or combo guard at this stage. Strong frame allows him to get in the lane and find shooters. He is one of the best pure shot makers in recent memory as he showed in this setting knocking in several threes including a step back one.

Andrew Wagner (Hersey – 2021)

Wagner is a plus shooter from the lead guard spot. We had him for half a dozen triples in the games that we saw. Crisp and clean looking shot. Should find a home at the small college level.

Asher Jackson (Carmel – 2022)

Jackson closed out strong at Details where he really made a name for himself. The Carmel junior is a big left handed two guard that is a shot maker from deep hitting several contested threes. Also uses his strength in the lane for finishes at rim on runners and powerful takes.

Daniel Hong (Conant – 2022)

Hong had his best performance of the fall in the final one. The Conant junior hit threes all day long. Was a very consistent three point shooting threat while also mixing in some scoop shots and creative passing.

[player_tooltip player_id="920966" first="Tyler" last="Van Eekeren"] (Benet – 2021)

TVE had a rock solid performance as always. The Benet wing is an extremely productive small forward that can really shoot it off the catch. Overall skilled game with his passing in the drive/kick along with his crisp handles. Flies in for rebounds. Tough kid that needs to be getting more D2 looks.

Ryan Sammons (Fremd – 2023)

First look at Sammons. Long and lanky two guard that has a sweet looking lefty shot. Scored on a couple quick post moves along with flashing as a passer.

[player_tooltip player_id="925227" first="Chase" last="Bonder"] (Libertyville – 2022)

Bonder has been extremely impressive throughout the sessions and was once again in week 4. Face up four man that can really stroke it from beyond the arc. Hit them spotting up and creating his own. Runs the floor well in transition and is mobile in the pick/roll game.

Caleb Choe (Conant – 2022)

Choe is a lead guard that pushes the pace and makes sound decisions as a passer. Capable shooter that can hit a shot every now and then.

[player_tooltip player_id="921000" first="Evan" last="Ambrose"] (Stevenson – 2021)

Ambrose is a smaller lead guard that continues to be overlooked by small colleges. High IQ playmaker that gets others involved in both the half court and transition. Also is an excellent pull up jump shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id="995971" first="Ethan" last="Roberts"] (Hersey – 2021)

Roberts will see a boost in the next rankings due to his play in these sessions. Big wing that has plus size and is an outstanding perimeter shooting threat. One of the better three point shooters in the class. Hits deep threes, contested ones, and drills them off ball screens. Also did a nice job keeping the defense off balance by putting it on the deck on tough takes to the hoop.

[player_tooltip player_id="925218" first="Adidas" last="Davis"] (Buffalo Grove – 2022)

Davis has had a nice fall at several events. Skilled left handed small forward that has a feathery jumper from deep. Hit several threes off movement in this setting along with flashing his passing ability.

Ben Randall (Hersey – 2021)

Randall is a jumbo wing that drilled a pick/pop three, got loose in transition several times, and the broad shouldered senior also rebounds well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1056106" first="Alex" last="Engro"] (Loyola – 2023)

Engro is a sophomore shooting guard with nice length and athleticism on the perimeter. He knocked down shots at a high clip in this workout. Quick and concise release on his shot. Also has crisp ball handling which set up his shot nicely.

[player_tooltip player_id="925232" first="Evan" last="Porto"] (Stevenson – 2022)

Porto is a shot making shooting guard that hit quite a few from distance in the games. Effective spot up shooter that also is a solid defender.

Ty Moenning (Mundelein – 2022)

The Mundelein junior was on fire with his jump shot putting them in over and over from three along with stopping and popping from mid-range. Solid passer as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="920947" first="Kimahri" last="Wilson"] (Carmel – 2021)

Wilson is a quick and shifty lead guard who brings athleticism and speed to the position. Pushes in the open floor with such a burst. Shook his defender off the dribble and then drilled a step back. Flashy passer.
