<p>Class 4A - Region 6 looks to have plenty of talent this season. Prep Hoops decided it would be easier to break it down into a few different articles right here on the site. Lets take a look at some of the better UNDERCLASSMEN in the region this year right here on your source for basketball coverage in the Palmetto State. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1053647" first="Tristan" last="LeXander"] (2022) - Hartsville HS </strong></p>
<p>Lexander transferred into Hartsville HS this off season after being in the Hoop State last season. Lexander will help the Red Foxes back court this coming season. </p>

<p>McBride really made great strides this summer with his play on the Grassroots Circuit with Upward Stars Pee Dee. McBride was playing up a age group and sure didn’t show any intimidation playing with the older lads. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865290" first="Merel" last="Burgess"] (2023) - South Florence HS </strong></p>
<p>Burgess is a thick left-handed forward who is pretty crafty around the cup. Burgess can play inside-out on the floor has a nice touch and feels very comfortable playing out to 19 feet. Burgess is looking to have a big season this season for the Bruins. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865315" first="Deuce" last="Hudson"] (2023) - Darlington HS </strong></p>
<p>Hudson came on last year and put up solid numbers as a freshman for the Falcons. Hudson is the son of former Major League baseball player Orlando Hudson. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865287" first="Jamari" last="Briggs"] (2023) - Hartsville HS </strong></p>
<p>Briggs picked up a offer last spring from Xavier University. Briggs has a good build to him and looks to over power defenders to the basket at times. Briggs and Lexander give the Red Foxes a bright future for sure. </p>

<p>Butler is a multi-sport athlete for the Tigers. Butler will take his turn this season to guide the ship for the Tigers. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="986186" first="Keenan" last="Dubose"] (2024) - Darlington HS </strong></p>
<p>Dubose saw great minutes last season as a 8th grader for the Falcons. Dubose is back to help Hudson and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="927517" first="Tre’Quan" last="Scott"]</strong> in the backcourt for the Falcons this season. </p>
