PHW reports on the top seven 2021 targets still awaiting suitors.

[player_tooltip player_id="544570" first="Patrick" last="Baldwin Jr."] - Sussex Hamilton: Baldwin is likely not in the mix for any additional recruiting surge. Arguably the top prospect in the country has quietly narrowed his list, and with a variety of destinations competing for his services, it’ll surely be a popular decision across the nation.

[player_tooltip player_id="804898" first="Brandin" last="Podziemski"] - SJNMA: Podziemski landed two blockbuster offers in Kentucky and Kansas this offseason. With many other schools offering the guard, he’ll be able to choose just about any destination come commitment time.

[player_tooltip player_id="764118" first="John" last="Lovelace"] - Brown Deer: Lovelace embodies the profile of a four-year, division one recruit. Over his varsity career, he’s grown out of his wiry frame, looking more like a 6’7”, filled-out forward. From his sophomore grassroots season, Lovelace matured significantly. He’s now a downhill driver with a deep arsenal on moves to freeze his defender. He finishes comfortably above the rim, and is still a pinpoint shooter. I see him as a major asset for a mid-major D1 or higher.

[player_tooltip player_id="879983" first="Antuan" last="Nesbitt"] - The Prairie School: A banner fall period saw him post 40-point games, poster dunks, and more. He can dice up defenses at all three levels. He’s dangerous when he gets in the paint, but is just as big a threat when he has space on the perimeter. It’s easy to pigeonhole him as a scorer, but he’ll give you 10 rebounds a night and make noise across the whole stat sheet. He has division one potential, but I could also see him being a stud at the division two-level.

[player_tooltip player_id="804901" first="Jakobe" last="Thompson"] - Racine Case: Thompson hasn’t gotten the attention he probably deserves. Maybe undersized from a height standpoint, but Thompson compensates with agile feet and strength. He’s checked most of the boxes at the high school level, leading Case to a one-seed in state and leading his roster in scoring for back-to-back seasons. Not sure why there aren’t serious offers on the table, especially from division two schools.

[player_tooltip player_id="804903" first="Grant" last="Flory"] - Wisconsin Rapids: Flory might put up the best numbers of anyone in the state. He averaged nearly 30 points per game last year, and is only improving his skillset. He didn’t play a grassroots season, but that shouldn’t deter interested schools. At his core, he’s a physically dominant player, and his defensive prowess only adds more intrigue. A sleeper for schools to looking for an aggressive, versatile recruit.

[player_tooltip player_id="879988" first="Preston" last="Ruedinger"] - Lourdes Academy: A prototype point guard that’s solid across the board. He already nabbed division two offers, a testament to his potential as a pure point guard. He has the poise to take over at a school right away. He’s also a knockdown shooter, unfazed ball-handler, and electric playmaker.
