Mike is a quick point guard that had great handles this past weekend. He is a solid senior who knows how to look for the open pass, but Prather is not just a guy that gets it done on the assists side. He plays for Little Elm High School where he averaged 10 points per game. He had his best game against Frisco Lone Star last year where he dropped 17 with his smooth jump shot. Little Elm got knocked out in the Bi-District Playoffs, but lookout for Mike in his senior year where he should lead these Lobos back to the playoffs like RJ Hampton used to do.
Elan Solobev – Frisco Lebanon Trail – 2023
The superior guard from Frisco is an offensive leader that knows how to get the ball in the right guys hands. This kid is young and will prove to be a varsity star in the next couple of years for the Trail Blazers. This past weekend, Solobev played like a true offensive leader on team 20. On Junior Varsity, he averaged 15 points as well as 5 rebounds and 6 assists per game. Elan has put out a statement saying that “he learns from his mistakes, has a very high work ethic, and most importantly, he is respectful and coachable.” Solobev has got a couple more years, but he should one to look out for.
Edric Boyce – Frisco Lebanon Trail – 2023
Another point guard from Lebanon Trail, is the man Mr. Boyce. He is the other half to this Trail Blazer duo that should look great a couple years down the road. In the Expo, he truly showed off that he was a hustler and that he was always looking for the ball. The man was always in the right place at the right time, and after talking to him I could tell that he was one that wanted to show his game. The six-foot guard is around 150 lbs, and he has had training in strength, conditioning, focus, awareness, ball handling and shooting for over four years. These Lebanon Trail boys may sneak up on you because they are a couple of guys that should be in the scene very soon.
Daniel Meneses – Frisco High School – 2021
The senior guard also from Frisco is a player that is very knowledgeable on how to find the open shooter. His passes were pretty immaculate this past weekend, and well if you look at his high school statistics, you can tell that Daniel is no joke. As a guy that averages 13 points per game, that really is not even his best statistic. Meneses also averages 76% from the field and 86% from the free throw line. Daniel is the senior guard from the city of Frisco that I would very much recommend taking a look into for a potential solid college athlete.
