#5 Matthew Stokes Matthew Stokes 6'8" | PF Bartlett | 2023 State TN (Houston)
Size in Tennessee is rare and therefore extremely valuable. Every recruiting cycle countless college coaches tell me, ‘We are looking for a big’ and too often I must acknowledge we simply don’t have any/many. Beyond his size, Stokes is a talent with room to improve also.
Evaluated mid-October by Devin Ugland (CA-based scout):
Matthew Stokes Matthew Stokes 6'8" | PF Bartlett | 2023 State TN was one of the better true big men in the camp and made his biggest impact with his defensive presence in the paint. Stokes has great timing when blocking, changing and contesting shots around the basket, then corralling the missed shot and throwing a quick outlet pass to a guard to start the break.
#6 Blue Cain Blue Cain 6'4" | SG IMG Academy | 2023 State #102 Nation FL (Knoxville Catholic)
Blue Cain Blue Cain 6'4" | SG IMG Academy | 2023 State #102 Nation FL , always a hard-working guard, established his name and game regionally in the last 18 months.
In June 2019, Blue earned recognition at our PrepHoopsTN Summer Combine, making the Top 20 All-Star Game. Midway through his freshman season ETSU offered. Thanks to an electric AAU season with BMaze, Cain added Howard University and then South Carolina within an August week of each other.
Blue Cain Blue Cain 6'4" | SG IMG Academy | 2023 State #102 Nation FL , always a hard-working gym rat, loves to tinker in the kiln and sharpen his tools. Explosive. Good-natured. Passionate. Good listener.
#7 Jarred Hall Jarred Hall 6'8" | SF Lebanon | 2023 State #65 Nation TN (Lebanon)
Exceled with EAB 15u in the abbreviated summer session. Jarred is one of those forward prospects that is still years away from peaking. In fact, I expect Hall to spend the next few years growing into his body and several years after that refining his skills to suit. The ceiling is so high and exciting. As of early October, Hall stands 6-foot-8. SEC programs are circling overhead like vultures hungrily awaiting the day they can get him on campus or evaluate him fully in-person. High major is a certainty for JH.

#8 Josh Holloway Josh Holloway 5'10" | PG Oak Hill | 2023 VA (St. George’s)
Holloway is destined to be a point guard beyond high school, but often operates as a lead guard ala Harden. He features a flashy two-way game with excellent first-step burst. Holloway maintains a tight handle and ferocious competitive spirit.
