Roosevelt went 14-6 a season ago and now they have aspirations of bringing home championship gold. They have the point guard(s) to lead them as well.

Moving On: Roosevelt had one senior starter and that was 6-foot-5 200 pound five Brady Dannebring. Brady was the main the middle for the Rough Riders and while he's the only senior that needs to be replaced from last year's rotation, size wise the team was not that deep. He may be tougher to replace than some may have thought.

Returning Starters: The four returning starters are six foot guard [player_tooltip player_id="757825" first="Tyler" last="Feldkamp"], 6-foot-3 wing [player_tooltip player_id="757835" first="Michael" last="Paulson"], 6-foot-4 wing [player_tooltip player_id="975533" first="Koor" last="Kuol"], and 5-foot-11 guard [player_tooltip player_id="975525" first="Tucker" last="Large"]. It’s a potent group of players as Large can handle as of course can Feldkamp. Tyler can switch between both spots but now at a strong 185 pounds he can be a physical two going at the rim. As far as Paulson goes, the young man can shoot but he has more juice than people know and it’s made people pay in the past. Throw in [player_tooltip player_id="975533" first="Koor" last="Kuol"], one of the biggest stock risers of the summer and you have a four man crew of guards/wings that can stake claim to being a very legit Class AA title contender. Kuol and Paulson could both explode having huge senior years, the talent is there.

Reserves Playing a Bigger Role: The list of talented guards and wings doesn’t stop. In fact the talent is so thick you have to wonder if the group won’t go with a straight five out attack to get all this talent on the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="963741" first="Taylen" last="Ashley"] is a point guard and widely considered to be the best sophomore in the state. Jackson McCormick is another six foot guard with the talent to start a lot of places. Then you have [player_tooltip player_id="968150" first="Marcus" last="Phillips"], a 6-foot-3 wing that paired with Paulson and Kuol is likely the best group of small forwards on one team in the state. Again the talent of the Rough Riders doesn’t stop as they can simply overwhelm teams with what they can bring at teams.

Potentials from the JV: [player_tooltip player_id="975577" first="Brandon" last="Dannenbring"] is 210 pounds at 6-foot-0 likely making him one of the strongest players on the team. The strongest is likely [player_tooltip player_id="975555" first="Trey" last="Horner"], the man that is likely to play the low post when Roosevelt needs a player in the low post. Trey stands 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds. Jordan Waltman is 6-foot-2 and another coming off the JV that could help Roosevelt.
