[player_tooltip player_id="787335" first="Ma’Shy" last="Hill"] | 6-9 C | Pflugerville Hendrickson

Texas Ranking: 13

Hill is a gifted post prospect with great feet and defensive play, who shined as a freshman during Hendrickson's 24 win season last year. Hill comes in as the top-ranked player in the Austin area for the 2023 class and is the number 13 overall player in Texas (#1 Center). He's an elite shot-blocker and rim protector who has great timing and effort on defense and is already an anchor in the paint who will only keep improving. Hill does a terrific job of using his size and length to his advantage gobbling up rebounds. On offense, Hill finishes strong with the ball in his hands and has the ability to finish with either hand at the basket. While his defense and rebounding are ahead of his offensive game at this stage, he is just scratching the surface of his offensive potential. Hill landed Division 1 offers from Houston, Rice, and SMU over the summer.

[player_tooltip player_id="892139" first="Malik" last="Presley"] | 6-4 SF | San Marcos

Texas Ranking: 15

An uber-athletic forward prospect with room to add a couple more inches to his height, Presley has a really nice frame and great length for the small forward position. During his freshman season for San Marcos, he averaged 14.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game during district play. This summer playing for Houston Hoops E15 and ASAK Elite, Presley improved on his game and routinely had double-double performances. He is impressive out on fast breaks flashing his athleticism with high flying dunks and finishes while providing consistent offensive production with his mid-range shot and on put-back opportunities. Does a fantastic job rebounding the ball using his bounce and long wingspan, and is a plus defender with blocks and tipped passes. Presley landed several Division 1 offers this summer from Houston, Oklahoma State, IUPUI, and SMU.

[player_tooltip player_id="957936" first="Kaden" last="Gumbs"] | 6-0 PG | San Marcos

Is a good deep-range shooter who can hit from anywhere beyond-the-arc. Gumbs is also a bouncy athlete who can sneak up on you with his athleticism in the fast break. Was really impressive this summer playing with ASAK Elite and handled his own in several different tournaments against some of the top talents in Texas.

[player_tooltip player_id="787332" first="Jaden" last="Greathouse"] | 6-3 SG | Westlake

Texas Ranking: 52

A dual-sport athlete with elite traits in both football and basketball, Greathouse is a strong and tough combo-guard that brings physicality to the guard position due to his football mentality. As a freshman on a stacked Westlake roster last season, Greathouse found a way to get on the court and contribute in limited minutes. Westlake's roster is still stacked entering this upcoming season, and Greathouse will be a key guard/wing in the rotation. In his tape, Greathouse possesses accurate passing ability and defensive instincts. He can create his own shot from both beyond-the-arc and by penetrating the lane while finishing strong at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="787343" first="Josh" last="Jones"] | 6-9 PF | St. Michael’s

Texas Ranking: 53

Jones has a huge presence in the paint and is an active post who crashes the boards hard and does a great job of finishing around the basket on the block. He shows good movement ability in the pick-and-roll game and plays strong in the paint. Jones has improved in using his body to get position in the low post, as well as improved his range on his shot. On defense, Jones is a capable shot blocker who makes an impact as a rim protector. Jones's progression is pointing upwards and he could see another rise in the rankings after this upcoming sophomore season at St. Michael's.

[player_tooltip player_id="892165" first="Levi" last="Rutledge"] | 6-5 SG | Cedar Park

Texas Ranking: 56

Rutledge is a versatile wing prospect who has great length and shooting ability. He plays a smooth brand of basketball and can score at all three levels. Does a great job moving without the ball and finds ways to get open in the paint as a slasher. Has a consistent mid-range jumper off the dribble, and can also get to the rim at will where he is a smooth finisher at the basket. Rutledge continued to impress with his play for ATX Lockdown this summer, and he will be a big-time playmaker at the wing position for Cedar Park moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id="957938" first="Dylon" last="Richardson"] | 6-1 PG | Hutto

Texas Ranking: 68

A physically imposing point guard with a great frame, Richardson is a bulldog on the court who can fill up the stat sheet. During limited playing time as a freshman on a deep Hutto roster, Richardson averaged 3.3 points, 1.7 assists, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per contest in 18 games logged. He did particularly well at creating turnovers on defense and pushing the pace in the fast break. On offense, Richardson is a pass-oriented point guard who is also a good spot-up shooter from beyond-the-arc.

[player_tooltip player_id="787325" first="Nazar" last="Mahmoud"] | 6-4 SG | Leander Rouse

Texas Ranking: 75

Mahmoud made his rankings debut as the number 75 ranked prospect in Texas and comes in as the number 8 prospect in the Austin area. The Leander Rouse wing has great size for either position and could potentially grow into a small forward. Another player who plays a smooth brand of basketball on the court, and does a great job of attacking the basket. Is a terrific shooter from three-point range who can hit a pull-up shot or create on his own. Possess legit NBA range as a shooter. On defense, he shows good awareness and can be a threat creating turnovers and running fast-break opportunities.

Jayden Barrs | 6-0 PG | Manor

Texas Ranking: Unranked/Watch List

Barrs made an impact late in his freshman season for Manor as he became a key player during their playoff-run. A tall and athletic point guard prospect, Barrs shows good instincts on the court and is a playmaker on both offense and defense. Barrs will be a player to keep an eye on as he could see his stock rise with more playing time on varsity for Manor this upcoming season. Earned All-District 18-5A Honorable Mention.

[player_tooltip player_id="787358" first="Tory" last="Simmons"] | 5-7 PG | Pflugerville Weiss
