2021 Rankings Update: Top Forwards

<p>Our new rankings update that just came out has had a few switch ups with people moving around and some new comers to Colorado. Here are some of our top forwards from the new rankings update.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="770427" first="Brayden" last="Carter"]- Mullen</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="770427" first="Brayden" last="Carter"] had a great junior season and followed it up with good offseason as well. In his junior campaign he averaged a double-double with 18.7 points and 10.4 rebounds, dominating in the paint. Then during the offseason he did not backdown from anyone. He had a great season playing power forward along side of [player_tooltip player_id="921100" first="Baye" last="Fall"] with the Colorado Hawks. Brayden can stretch the floor and hit shots from mid range and has a great back to the basket game. Also at the Pangos Camp Brayden played his game against some of the nations top big men. Inside he blocks shots and rebounds the ball well, sometimes getting big put-back dunks in traffic. Brayden is a good athlete at the power forward position and can pass some bigger guys off the dribble. Brayden is currently is a top ten player in this class and is expected to put up more big numbers for Mullen again this year. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1050068" first="Keither" last="Florence"]- Colorado Prep </strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1050068" first="Keither" last="Florence"] is new to Colorado coming to play at Colorado Prep. He is an elite athlete who plays way above the rim! Keither has good size at 6’8 and uses that to score on smaller defenders. Keither on the defensive end has good footwork to keep up with guards and at the rim he gets up and blocks shots. Coming from Kansas he was one of their top prospects and looking to bring that game to the Real Grind Session. Keither has a decent mid range game but strives at finishing around the rim, using his athleticism to create contact in the air and finish. Excited to see what Keither can do with Colorado Prep this year. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1047484" first="Miles" last="Branch"]- Colorado Prep </strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1047484" first="Miles" last="Branch"] is a skilled power forward who has great size. Miles stands at 6’8 and has the build of a football player which helps him move players down low. He finishes well from the post, has a great set of post moves from high and low post.  Miles can also stretch the floor with a good mid range shot and hits the occasional three point shot. Miles brings a good grittiness to Colorado Preps team, and will be a dawg to look out for. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="916961" first="Greg" last="Gerhardt"]- Monarch</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="916961" first="Greg" last="Gerhardt"] is a stretch power forward/center with high upside. Greg is a true 6’10, making him one of the tallest players in the state. He has a sweet stroke from the outside and mid range, one of the best shooters for a big man I have seen. Greg has shown stretches of finishing strong inside with layups and dunks. Once he realizes that he can take over games by being assertive he will be a big problem for opposing teams. Greg also has a great mid range fade away that is very hard to block. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="965747" first="Ty" last="Bergman"]- Regis</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="965747" first="Ty" last="Bergman"] is another solid stretch big who had a stock boosting summer. Ty has good size for a power forward at 6’7 and has a good body which helps him box out for rebounds. He has a good jumper from three point range and mid range which allows his team to stretch the floor. Ty also finishes well around the rim finishing with lay ups and hooks. He also uses his length to block shots near the rim, then can run the floor well. </p> <p><strong>Garret Seibert- Legend </strong></p> <p>Garret Seibert is a forward who bring his swagger to the court every time he plays. Garret is a cocky player who when he gets hot is a hard player to stop from scoring. He has a good jumper mid range extended, and can hit shots over smaller defenders. Garret also gets low on the defensive end of the floor allowing him to guard players on the perimeter. At 6’6 Garret is not the tallest but boxes out well and competes down low. </p>
