The event is being held at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center which features 8 courts. Lets take a lookout out on how the Seawolves did on Day 1 from the Palmetto State right here.
The Seawolves went (2-0) on the opening day. Prep Hoops watched the Seawolves defeat the Charlotte Royals 81-67 on Saturday evening. The Seawolves received strong play from the following players.
Jordan Walsh Jordan Walsh 6'7" | SF Link Academy | 2022 #31 Nation MO (2022) – Waxachachie Faith Family Academy (pictured on the front)
Walsh didn’t play with the Seawolves back in July when I saw them play here in Myrtle Beach. Walsh is a extremely versatile player and can really defend almost anybody on the floor. Walsh was great in the passing lanes all day with several deflections. Walsh brought great intensity to the defensive floor and a willing desire to rebound the basketball. Walsh generally plays with Drive Nation on the Under Armour Association. Walsh has received plenty of recruitment from Power 5 schools.
Abdul Beyah Abdul Beyah 5'9" | G Cedar Hill | 2022 TX (2022) – Cedar Hill HS
Beyah is a offensive minded scoring guard. Beyah recently picked up offers from UT-Arlington, Stetson and SMU according to Seawolves Head Coach Larry Johns. Beyah sees the floor very well and has a nice mid-range game. Beyah is crafty with the ball in his hands and really likes to utilize the bounce pass. Beyah logs a lot of minutes on the floor and has the ability to connect on open shots.
Kjellan Oduor (2021) – Grand River Academy (OH)
Oduor has a BIG-TIME MOTOR that never stops on the floor. Oduor 6’8 plays the game at one-speed and one-speed only FAST and HARD. Oduor originally from Kenya, Africa was all over the floor today. Oduor is still a bit of a unknown in the basketball world.
Conner Kern (2021) – Prosper HS
Kern 7’2 (265) is a big man that is for sure. Kern was able to set screens and challenge shots on the defensive end. Kern plays helped the Eagles to a (27-7) season last year. Every college program in America is always looking for size that’s for sure.
