To view those players and some analysis, take a look at the link here for part 1. In part 2 I will look at a several more players that are all still available in the recruitment market.
2021 6’6 SF Joe Cookson Joe Cookson 6'6" | SF Seattle Academy | 2021 State WA (Seattle Academy) – Co-League MVP with Division 1 offered Leo DeBruhl Leo DeBruhl 6'3" | PG Seattle Academy | 2021 State WA who also happens to be his long time high school and club ball teammate. Cookson is long, skilled and smart on the court. He is a very high academic student and could fit in very nicely at multiple levels. He flew under the radar the last couple years, but he should easily pick up steam. He played on Seattle Rotary’s 16u EYBL team a year ago and returns to a Seattle Rotary 17u team this year. A diamond in the rough prospect!
2021 6’3 SG Ja’Von Ervin Ja’Von Ervin 6'3" | SG Ingraham | 2021 State WA (Ingraham HS) – A strong athlete that plays well of the bounce or he can also score as a slasher. Ervin is a solid outside shooter as well. He is an above average rebounder at the guard position and he has enough athleticism to finish above the rim. His recruitment has been fairly quiet, but I believe he is due for a strong senior season in the Metro League of Seattle.
2021 6’5 SF Tucker Molina Tucker Molina 6'5" | SF Glacier Peak | 2021 State WA (Glacier Peak HS) – Molina had a breakout junior season for Glacier Peak. His mixture of strength, athleticism and shooting at 6’5 makes him a strong suitor as a Division 1 prospect. He is not a household name state-wide, but my eyes don’t lie to me and Molina can really play.
2021 6’1 G Kaden Horn Kaden Horn 6'1" | CG Union | 2021 State WA (Union HS) – A sleeper out of Clark County that has a skill that translates to the next level and that is shooting. Horn is capable of getting hot and knocking down double digit threes in some games. Lefty guard that plays with a good IQ and provides a lot of floor spacing. Would be an outstanding small college prospect!
