One of the most up in the air sections next year will be 5AAA. It could go a number of ways in the end. Here are the talents to keep an eye on.

Five Best

[player_tooltip player_id="957619" first="Tucker" last="Haakonson"] of Rocori - Tucker does some of everything for Rocori. He’s a good defender at 6-foot-2 but he also scored a dozen a game making more than half of his shots, plus Tucker was the team leader in assists (4-5 a game) and steals.

[player_tooltip player_id="774761" first="Jack" last="Iverson"] of Big Lake - Jack has the frame schools are looking for at power forward standing about 6-foot-7 and he has the comfortable face-up touch with some range they would like too. Iverson scored 13, 14 points a contest for the Hornets and his skills continue to develop.

[player_tooltip player_id="532583" first="Trey" last="Longstreet"] of Delano - Trey is one of the state’s most versatile talents. He played lead guard for his team last year and this year if needed he can play center. Longstreet plays the wing for his summer team and he has the size at 6-foot-7 to play power forward. He just has more pieces to his puzzle than most of the players in Minnesota.

[player_tooltip player_id="774925" first="Micah" last="Niewald"] of Fridley - Micah is a great leader, an intelligent player, and brings a steadiness to a Fridley squad that went .500 last year which was a bit bette than expected. Scored a dozen a game.

[player_tooltip player_id="958757" first="Cody" last="Pennebaker"] of St. Francis - If Trey is the current, Cody is the future. The athletic 2022 with high potential scored 13.8 points per game and has the type of potential to do so much more. This is an agile, explosive player with a flare for the dramatic and that’s in his finishing explosively or with a late game big play that puts his team over.

Five More

[player_tooltip player_id="957228" first="Christian" last="Crockett"] of Fridley - Crockett is a full motor kind of guard that defends hard and comes at you all game. Scored a dozen a game last season.

[player_tooltip player_id="958736" first="Carson" last="Kolles"] of Monticello – The top returning Magic scorer, Caron shot nearly 57 percent from the field last year as the team’s second leading scorer.

Eli Nelson of Fridley – Eli is a 6-foot-0 plug and play talent that has a nice pull-up game.

[player_tooltip player_id="774845" first="Jayden" last="Philippi"] of Rocori – Jayden shot 45 percent from the arc a season ago scoring nearly 13 points a contest. Get a hand up.

[player_tooltip player_id="957608" first="Wyatt" last="Windhorst"] of Big Lake - High academic student that also gave Big Lake an excellent 13 points, nine boards, three assists, and 2.5 steals a game
