<p>The talent in 4AAA basketball is almost too much for one article. Next year Minnehaha Academy and Totino-Grace will start the year at #1 and #2 as the depth of these teams ranks with the best in the state. </p>

<p><strong>Five Best</strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850702" first="Prince" last="Aligbe"]</strong> of Minnehaha Academy. Prince is one of the three guys that we go round and round as the best 2022 in the class, he is a returning starter for the Hawks, and a nationally rated top 35-40 player. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="962198" first="Taison" last="Chatman"]</strong> of Totino-Grace. Taison is the number one ranked 2023 in the state of Minnesota, a top 25 rated prospect in the nation for his class, and the top returning scorer for the Eagles. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="532574" first="Chet" last="Holmgren"]</strong> of Minnehaha Academy. When the 2021 rankings are released this week from Prep Hoops, Chet will be ranked as the number one prospect in the nation. We have seen Minnesota kids appear #1 before but never this late in their careers. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="680229" first="Hercy" last="Miller"]</strong> of Minnehaha Academy. Miller is a high major offered player, a top three prospect in the state of Minnesota’s 2021 class, and a top 200 level prospect nationally. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="962199" first="CJ" last="O’Hara"]</strong> of Totino-Grace. CJ is coming off of a double figure scoring freshman season for a top ten Class AAA team. He is the second ranked 2023 in Minnesota and a top 50-60 level prospect in the country for his age. </p>

<p><strong>Five Best Part 2 - Let’s Keep Going! </strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="532550" first="DJ" last="Akpati"]</strong> of Totino-Grace. DJ is one of the top five level point guard prospects in the state of Minnesota and a top 30 level senior-to-be. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850729" first="Muja" last="Burton"]</strong> of Columbia Heights. Burton is a top 20-25 level 2022 talent in a stacked class that scored 17 points a game as a sophomore.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850707" first="Chase" last="Carter"]</strong> of Minnehaha Academy. Carter, who now stands 6-foot-7 after another season of growth, is a high major offered 2022 in two sports. A top ten level prospect in a talented class of Minnesota players. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850724" first="Donovan" last="Smith"]</strong> of Minnehaha Academy. Smith is one of Minnesota’s best shooters, a top 20 level player prospect in the 2022 class and is D1 offered multiple times over. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="958638" first="Demarion" last="Watson-Saulsberry"]</strong> of Minnehaha Academy. A top 15-20 level player in the 2022 class of Minnesota that has multiple D1 offers. </p>

<p><strong>Five (Six) More</strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="774802" first="Joe" last="Alt"]</strong> of Totino-Grace. Alt is a top five 2021 football prospect in Minnesota but also a top 50 hooper. </p>
<p><strong>Patrick Bath</strong> of Totino-Grace. Bath is a 2023 who has a real chance to be the top or one of the top two big men prospects in the state’s class. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="532558" first="Devin" last="Burger"]</strong> of Totino-Grace. Burger is a defensively solid, skilled player that ranks as a top 25-30 player in the 2021 class of Minnesota. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957130" first="Isaiah" last="Davis"]</strong> of Minnehaha Academy. A D1 offered 2021 that is a top 20 player prospect in his class. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957131" first="Cal" last="Greene"]</strong> of Mahtomedi. Another top 20-25 level senior to be in the 2021 class of Minnesota. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="962203" first="Tommy" last="Humphries"]</strong> of Totino-Grace. A top 5-10 player in Minnesota’s 2023 class, Humphries has division one level talent. </p>
