While no guard is perfect, down below are some of the 757s best playmakers and the most likely candidates to lead the area in assists.
Jaden Curry- 5’9 Point Guard/2021/PCS
Jaden Curry is a proven playmaker that was one of the best assist leaders in the 757 last year. While on the shorter side, Curry is both quick and lethal. Using his quickness, Curry pressures the defense to collapse and then hits the open man. Curry is one of the most pass first players in the area, period.
Christian Moore Christian Moore 6'1" | CG Cape Henry | 2021 State VA – 6’1 Point Guard/2021/Cape Henry
Christian Moore Christian Moore 6'1" | CG Cape Henry | 2021 State VA is a candidate to average 20 a game. He also could maybe average 10 assists a contest. The thing is, Moore does what his team needs him to do. On any given night that could mean utilizing his scoring prowess or playmaking. Regardless, Moore has plenty of talent around him to allow him to rack up the dimes.
Cameron Edmonds- 6’1 Point Guard/2021/Western Branch
Cameron Edmonds is a member of one of the scariest guard trios in the 757. As the point guard of this trio, Edmonds knows where his teammates want the rock and sets them up perfectly. Given his teams tempo, shooting and his own abilities, Edmonds may end up one of the assist leaders in the area.

Jacob Cooper Jacob Cooper 5'9" | PG Green Run | 2021 State VA is a winner and a leader. The classic floor general, Cooper is at his best when commanding the offense from the lead spot. Both quick and strong, Cooper is quick to dish the rock and is exceptionally good at finding the shooters in the corners. Cooper will look to lead the 757 in assists next year as he chases another state title.
