The Mile High Invational was packed with solid talent and many top point guards. Here are a few of the standout lead guards on the day.

[player_tooltip player_id="526684" first="Zion" last="Ruckard"]- PLUTO

Ruckard looked like easily the best point guard in the tournament. No one could keep up with Ruckard’s quickness he seemed to zoom past everyone on the court for easy lay-ups. Ruckard also used that quickness to draw in the defense and kick out to open teammates or find them cutting to the rim. Also on the defensive end he caused havoc, pestering defenders and making stops to start fast-breaks. The Promfet School has a great player coming there way, can not wait to check on his progress once he is out there!

[player_tooltip player_id="916960" first="Tommy" last="Apodaca"]- Colorado Chaos

[player_tooltip player_id="916960" first="Tommy" last="Apodaca"] was a great leader for his talented Chaos team last weekend. Apodaca is a pass first point guard who always has his head on a swivel looking open for teammates. He is another one of the quickest players in the state, who can speed past players on the fast-break, he also often finishes on the fast break with very finishing ability at the rim. Apodaca also was hitting a few three pointers and floaters when given the chance but he does force many bad shots.

[player_tooltip player_id="916971" first="Schafer" last="Reichart"]- PLUTO

Schafer is not a huge name but is a true dawg on the court. Reichart is combo guard who can do a bit of everything on the court. He is a bigger guard who controls the pace of the game very well by making everyone play at his pace. Reichart has a very good sense for the game, he cuts very well and passes the ball just as well to find open teammates. He also has very good jumper from mid range and three point land, he will be a good scorer to look out for next year.

TJ Williams- Colorado Titans

TJ Williams had a good weekend with the scrappy Colorado Titans team. Williams is one of the players who sets the pace for the whole team, he is a leader who commands his teammates like a true floor general. He is very scrappy on the defensive end of the floor and causes the other team to turnover the ball. Williams ended the weekend with a huge game winning shot, with a euro-step through the paint and the last second release, FOR THE GAME!
